SI Belt for Men and Women, Sacroiliac Pelvic Support for Sciatica Hip Pain

You wouldn't think it, but it helped both my wife and I. Her; Sciatica. Helped to releive 50% of the pain. Me; I slipped a lumbar disk. This belt was the difference between getting along with my day or laying in bed in total pain. A++

Injured my back (tailbone/pelvis connection) by lifting too much. I am 72, and am used to lifting bags of feed, etc. (note to self: Need to slow down a bit as you age!!) Had horrible pain in right hip, going down the right leg all the way to my toes - with a burning sensation on the outside of my calf and foot. Unable to stand for any period of time. Horrible. I tried a waist brace we had, but it wouldn't stay low enough on my back to help. When I shared info with my Chiropractor, he suggested this belt. What a miracle!!!!! The pressure relieved the pain down my leg. Seemed to hold the pelvis/tail bone area together. I felt relief the minute I put it on. In fact, was able to attend an event within a few days where I had to stand all day - no problem!! Have been using for over 8 months now. Ended up purchasing a second one as well, to have when washing the first one. Find if I don't wear all day, the pain would return. Comfortable to wear around lower hip area. Has additional band on each side so you can tighten more, or loosen - to obtain the correct pressure needed. I place mine next to the skin, with underwear over the top. This way you don't need to remove the belt every time you need to go potty. Doesn't seem to irritate the skin at all. Because I wear next to the skin, I've noticed (after 8 months) the rubbery stuff is beginning to come apart. Probably from skin oils. I think that is about what they tell you it will last, and like I said, I wear one every day! I was told it would take about a year for my injury to heal. I tested over the holidays not wearing the brace. I was ok for about a day and a half (with no lifting over 5#), so it is healing - just takes a while, as long as I support it with this brace. I highly recommend!!!! Will be purchasing two more to replace the first one. Thank you, Falcofit!!!!

I've purchased a few of these to test on my patients experiencing SI joint pain. It was inexpensive and the width (height) of the belt was what I typically look for. The material felt too stretchy, and the closure/velcro wasn't as robust as others I have tried. Both of these are likely to limit durability. Despite that, the belt was comfortable and did provide pain relief to those who tried it.

This belt has great support! Stays in place and fits well. I enjoy how easy it is to put on I never lose the straps as they attach easily to the sides automatically. The very best thing about this belt is the customer support! I had an issue with my belt size. I reached out and they helped me with my issue straightaway. I highly recommend this belt.

It helps support your back but after only a few months the Velcro doesn’t hold. I would think it should last longer than that!?

This belt is comfortable and doesn't ride up, but the velcro is pretty weak. I sometimes just get started with whatever I'm doing and have to stop to put the belt back on after it came loose and fell off. Admittedly, it's a cheap belt, so I'm not too surprised by this. If you aren't sure if an SI belt will help you, this is a good one to start with because it's inexpensive and will allow you to try it without making a major investment. Then you can get a better one if you want. I find the belt hot when working outdoors, but I suppose that's typical of anything that fits tightly around the body. The belt does help if you have SI issues. I just wish it stayed on a little better. Update: I've had this belt for three months, and I can no longer wear it. The velcro is totally shot, and the belt won't stay on at all. I see it's gone up considerably in price since I bought mine, too. For these reasons, I have reduced my review to 2 stars. Do yourself a favor and spend just a few dollars more and get a better one. I just bought one that has the double adjustable straps in the front over the initial closure strap. I could tell the difference as soon as I put it on. I can't speak to how long the new one will last, but it's got to be better than this one.

Falcofit Si belt fit great for the lower support of back and hip. Medium was perfect for my size. It did have a strong odor when opened up but a few hours in the breeze, it's fine. All belts with second set of tighteners are the best for proper fit.

This was a great purchase. It does help keep my back in line. It needs to be worn over clothes or you get very sweaty. It’s comfortable but rolls up, quality is great.
