I have several bluelab pens that do the same as the tadeto pen. Blue labs are $200 pens and only last 12 to 18 months. After infrequently looking for a lower price and buying the Tadeto, I realize there are so many great qualities the pen has its hard to beat the performance or the price. Bar none. If you ever see a low price pen that says it does 3,4,5 functions? Don't it's a gimmick. This Tadeto pen is an excellent choice for all pH minded farmers. Very accurate, super easy to use and it measures soil, water and feeding solutions " Nutrients and watering mix.DT rated it.Boo yow.

This unit is lab grade. It comes with 3 calibration solutions and once calibration is done your set to go. Response is quick and accurate. This unit is no toy and if ph is important to your task this is the unit to use. An added bonus is that you can also test soil ph with the included guard for the probe. I highly recommend this unit for accurate ph readings. Oh and also it is temperature compensating for the ph and gives you the temperature of the fluid. No guesswork here.

It's professional level. Don't cheap out. Get this one. Comes with enough calibration and storage solution to last many years. You just dip the tip in the bottle of calibration solution. Unscrew the storage cap with the storage solution at the bottom. Set the cap down still holding the storage solution. When you are done ...put the cap back on and as long as it gets the tip wet, don't add.

I have been using this meter to test the ph levels in my pool. While there was a learning curve for me, after several days of double testing with comparison to my basic pool test kit, I am confident that this device is as accurate as it can be. The probe arrived with electrode storage solution in the cap. I was not aware this would be the case, as I was not familiar with this type of meter. Regardless, this clued me in that there should be storage solution in the cap on the regular. The manual infers that to some extent, but clarification on its importance would be appreciated.Overall I am very happy to have this kit. The accuracy of the old school pool test kit is based on one's ability to interpret the varying hues of a color, whereas this device provides an actual specific number and takes the guesswork out of it entirely.I greatly appreciate the zippered container this all comes in, keeping everything in one place.

Do not buy this. Calibrated several times still won’t give accurate reading. Wasted money thinking if I pay more will be more accurate. DO NOT BUY horrible product.

Compared it next to a Blue Pen 8 different times and biggest variation was only .2, good quality and easy to use.

Bought a cheaper PH reader that ended up being junk. So I spent the extra money on this one. Started growing a couple personal weed plants and PH balance is incredibly important. This one is very accurate. Very easy to program for first use. Would highly recommend fir anyone that needs accurate PH readings. It's definitely worth the price don't get fooled by the cheaper version like I did.

According to other tests the PH was off by .5. Not good enough for my use. The calibration instructions were confusing and made no sense to me.
