We are actually using this for our backyard birds to roll around in. We ordered it because it is clean, washed, and chemical free so we didn't need to worry about our birds being exposed to toxins. The sand is very white and I could tell it would be easy to play and mold into shapes due to it's fine smooth texture. We live at the beach and the natural sand at our beach is very course and can have debris in it that the naked eye can not see. I would also use this for potting vegetable or herbal plants. Our kids are older but I do wish we had this option when they were little rather then having to wash out and strain a bucket of sand we got from down the road. You have the assurance that this one is clean and safe. As far as value I would say that for under $25 this bag is a value when you consider not having to spend hours carrying, washing and straining sand to still not have it free of some debris or chemicals. Plus it is a fine texture making it more fun for building sand castles.

It’s a great product for kids or for those who have asthma or allergies to dust. The company gave me outstanding customer support. The company rep called me on Thanksgiving Eve to answer my detailed questions about the warning label on the back of the package. Thanks to his phone call, I went ahead with my purchase and have bought 2 more bags since. I’m using the sand to secure my outdoor patio furniture from strong winds. The 25 lbs bag was perfect for my needs.

Well it’s a big ole bag of sand, lol. It’s a good size bag of play sand for the price you pay. But what is truly priceless is the smiles you will see on your kids face as they gain hours of play. This super fun sensory play makes any sand box entertaining. I must admit it did have a somewhat odd smell at first but I’m pretty positive that was from the plastic bag. It’s easy to open and pour. The plastic bag is made up of thicker plastic which allows durability during transport. What I really love about this sand is the grains are small and soft, and very easy to wipe away. This allows the sand to stay outside and easy cleanup before entering the house.

Color is almost white ! Feels almost like the beach sand, it’s perfect ! Easy cleanup ! & Worth the price !

I purchased this sand for my 2 1/2 year old grandson. We previously used a kinetic type which did not sift or pour and left a tacky residue on his hands. This sand is perfect for driving little trucks through and pouring and sifting. Beautiful, soft and very clean! We have not wet it to use sand molds yet. I was happy with the price for the amount of sand. Package arrived in perfect condition.
