I’ve used both Apple Watch and Samsung watches, and the Amazfit truly surprised me — it outperforms them in almost every aspect. What impressed me most is its seamless integration with the iPhone — you get nearly all the functionality of an Apple Watch, except for things like Apple Pay. The design, in my opinion, looks far more elegant, and the battery life is phenomenal — I get about 10 to 12 days per charge, even with heavy daily use and gym sessions. All that at a fraction of the price of an Apple Watch. It’s an easy recommendation for anyone looking for performance, style, and endurance in one smartwatch.

I’m really impressed with the Amazfit T-Rex 3. The UI is super smooth, the OS is responsive, and the data tracking feels accurate and detailed. The design looks awesome — rugged yet stylish. Battery life is excellent, and overall performance is very satisfying. Definitely one of the best smartwatches in this price range!

Happy with my purchase, so far all good. AmazFit is a good watch, light weight and suits my wrist size.

Works better than my Samsung, which just broke down, and it cost half as much.

I only had this watch briefly, but it is great to see a company pushing the technology and software that once only seemed available in watches 4-5 x the price. This watch is a great substitute to the Apple, Samsung and Garmin brands of the world, basically giving you the exact same tech and abilities, for a fraction of the cost. However, don't expect all the bells and whistles of perfect phone integration, compatibility with thousands of apps nor the ability to phone home with this brand. These are the concessions you make by paying far less, for an equally capable, rugged, well polished watch, without a thousand dollar bright shiny name on it. It will still jump out of a plane skimming the stratosphere with you, while plunging into the deepest depths of the ocean with you, and tell you the time and possibly your heart rate while doing so. It just won't make you feel guilty for overpaying for the privilege of having a great watch on while doing so. It runs apps beautifully, and gives you a nudge on the arm every time someone uploads a family portrait or lunchtime selfie, and will let you know when your boss is calling to find out where you are. It just won't say that the call is brought to you courtesy of Apple, or Samsung, or Garmin. And that's probably worth saving a few $$$s for. Highly capable, highly recommended watch.

Great watch!! So I needed a new watch for work as my old Casio G shock died after a few years. As I work as an electrical engineer on the underground power network, I needed a strong watch that was durable in outdoor conditions. I was tempted to buy another Casio G shock but liked the idea of a smart watch but didn’t like the idea of needing to charge it every 1 or 2 days and thought they were a little delicate for what I need it for. After some research I decided to go for the Amazfit T rex 3 and wasn’t disappointed! Pros; Battery life, with daily use battery lasts over 20 days! Sturdy, very well built, don’t feel nervous about using it in extreme conditions, I brought a glass screen protector just for some extra protection Very easy to use and fully of features, very quick and responsive. Cons; Size, it’s not a slim watch, it’s quite chunky which for my I don’t mind as I can live with that trade off for the extra strong built quality and plenty of battery life but just bare in mind it may be a bit too thick to slide under most long sleeves. Connectivity, it’s not laggy at all but there has been a few instances where I’ve missed notifications and the watch has lost connectivity with my phone so I’ve had to open the app and sync it and it starts working again. It’s only happened a few times so not a big deal. Too many features, this can be a pro and con but I find it packed with that many features it can sometimes feel overwhelming and most of the apps and features you’ll hardly use or they don’t work very well. Such as the work out app, it’s great if you’re going for a run but if you’re having a gym workout, the app doesn’t accurately measure reps and most the time you want to have a workout and just get on with it rather then fiddling with your watch the whole time. Overall I’d recommend it, great value for money even though I missed out on the Black Friday deal and paid £253, at £210 on black Friday it’s a no brainer, you’d easily pay a lot more for a garmin equivalent.
