This product worked for me on a sink where the water was draining away, but very, very slowly. I initially removed the U-bend and cleared some gunk out, which did make a small improvement but the water still drained away really slowly. The angles of the drain after the U-bend were impossible to access so I used this product. It seems very wasteful pouring the whole 500ml down the drain (so close to just pouring money down the drain!) but I did. The instructions say leave 5 minutes but I actually left it for several hours and then poured a kettle of the boil water down the drain, followed by running the hot tap for a while. The result? The water now drains away perfectly, never been better! So, my experience is that this product definitely works! Certainly worth a go before investing in plumbers or more expensive approaches.

Water started flowing normally again without any plunging.Heavy gel sticks well - Unlike thinner cleaners, this one stays where you pour it. It clings to the blockage instead of running straight through.No strong chemical smell - It has an odour, but it's not overpowering or irritating like some other products.Safe on pipes - Used it on plastic and metal drains with no issues or visible wear. Didn't need to worry about damage.Good value in the duo pack - Two bottles means you're covered for multiple uses or tougher blockages.What I didn't like:Struggles with tougher clogs - It didn't fully clear the kitchen drain on the first try. I had to use a second dose the next day.Needs time to work - Even though it's labelled "fast-acting," you still have to leave it for at least 15 minutes or longer for deeper blockages.Cap design is messy - The bottle cap drips after pouring unless you wipe it down, which is annoying if you store it under the sink.Final thoughts:Mr Muscle Drain Unblocker is a solid, easy-to-use option for everyday clogs in sinks, showers, and drains. It's not magic on major blockages, but for routine maintenance or minor slow drainage, it does the job without harsh fumes or pipe damage. The duo pack is decent value if you want to keep one in the house as backup.

Used to unblock the bath drain pipe that was clogged with hair and conditioner. Water was taking a few hours to drain fully by this point. I’ve used other brands in the past which I’ve had to leave all night but this worked within an hour, probably quicker. Super simple to use, just pour half the bottle down the plug hole and leave for a while, then flush through with hot water. Being a gel rather than liquid meant it didn’t splash anywhere and was easy to direct exactly where I wanted it. The drain cleared completely and drained very fast as soon as I went back to flush it down. Directions on the back of the bottle were very clear and easy to follow. Very good value with 2 treatments in each bottle. Would definitely purchase again and recommend to others.

These work so well, managed to unclog my sink and bathtub so well, it's a slimy goo and you tip it down, the 2 bottles lasted a really long time too!!

Worked brilliantly to clear out our blocked drains. Effective and affordable! Didn't get rid of the smell though so will be buying another product to deal with that but it doesn't claim to deal with smells so does what it says on the tin! Will be repurchasing for sure.

I don't normally write reviews but thought I would on this item as it could save you some money. I had a kitchen sink that was draining really slow. I tried this as people also said how great it was! Well it is amazing. I placed in the plug hole and just left overnight. The next morning my water was draining away normally. In my opinion it's amazing! Give it a go first to see if it sorts out any blockages or slow draining! Save you a plumber coming out.
