What is the overall width including the rear wheels?

The width of the rear tires is 20", and the with of the cart is about 13 1/4".

How well does the R12 roll over sand? i would like to be able to use it to transport supplies at the beach on the sand.

I actually used my R12RT yesterday playing at a Seafood Festival on Hampton Beach NH. VERY deep sand. Most places they had plywood down to move equipment, but there were a few places I had to go "off road" due to patrons blocking the "road." It wasn't easy, but it didn't bog down, either (about 200# of equipment on the cart. Best to pull/steer from the front, with a buddy pushing from the back.

How high is the push bar (when in the 4 wheel position) from the ground?

Not sure...but I am quite tall (6 foot 4 inches) and don't seem to have a problem.
