First off, I love this lamp. It does exactly what I wanted it to do when I bought it. When I ordered it, it was listed for $59.99, and for that price it was a bit steep. The 50% off coupon made it a great deal though. The flexibility to set color temperature and brightness is a huge bonus that I love to have. Great for the bedside or next to your chair.The way this lamp was packaged was a bit disappointing, but nothing that interrupted the functionality or caused major enough issues to take off a star.First off, the individual clear plastic coverings on the 5-6 segments of the pole were a pain in the butt to tear off. Yes, I could've gotten a pair of scissors, but I wouldn't be able to complain about it if I did, so I didn't. So there.Second, the included lampshade came rolled up tightly into a cylinder and had to be unrolled and fastened to two wire circles with clips and then velcro to join the edges. The problem here was that the shade material was rolled up the "wrong" way and the ends were permanently deformed in the wrong direction to adhere to the wire circles. Fortunately, the velcro seems to be strong enough, but I think rolling it the other way would've made it easier to mount.One thing I wish was clearer (though it is obvious when you think about it and look at the pieces) is that you are getting a dumb lamp with a smart remote-controlled bulb and not a smart lamp. Put the bulb in any other lamp and it functions the same way, put another bulb in this lamp and it just turns on and off with the foot switch. What this means is that all the bells and whistles which came with my new lamp are tied to the light bulb, and not to the lamp. If the bulb lasts long enough, this won't be an issue, but if it doesn't, the entire lamp becomes on/off with no remote. This is not a major enough issue for me, but it is going to make me run the bulb at a lesser brightness whenever possible to ensure it lasts as long as it can.

This lamp is really versatile and could be used in multiple rooms. The remote is great, it sticks to the pole magnetically so you can actually keep track of it. There are different color temps, and different presets on the remote for reading, feeding baby, etc that are handy. The lamp is tall which is really good. The shade can also be adjusted. There's a floor switch that you just step on. We use it next to a chair with a small chairside table, and it is just perfect. It's also dimmable. The base is heavily weighted and it's very sturdy and stable. Assembly is a breeze and takes less than 5 minutes and requires no tools at all. Overall, especially at this price this floor lamp is an great choice.

This lamb stand does not work. The pieces for step two in the directions or manufactured incorrectly. The pieces are unable to screw together because the inside part the grooves were the screw is supposed to fit into is not completely finished. So the screw always screws in 1 and 1/2 turns which is far enough to make the post sturdy or let alone hold up at all. The inner grooves in the pole part is the key issue and it became more frustrating than anything because it really is one part that's not allowing the whole thing to come together.

Came well packed and on time, without any damage. I ordered this for a spot in the house but than my mom asked if we had a lamp she could use because one of the grandkids broke her reading light. Well once we got it assembled - more on that next - my mom loved it so much that I don't know if we will ever get it back. The lamp looks very pretty and works perfectly not only for reading but for lighting the area as well. The base is solid and heavy enough to keep it from being wobbly which is one of the most important aspects of a floor lamp. The lamp comes with a remote that allows you to change it from warm to daylight as well as a 60-minute timer and a few specialty settings. The biggest issue is assembly which can be a bit tedious, and my mom pointed out several times that she was glad she didn't have to tackle it on her own. Another point that I keep thinking about is the price point which I think could be a bit cheaper and still allow them to make a profit. With that said, I do still like this lamp and so does my mom, so I have no issue recommending it as long as the price isn't an issue for you.

This lamp is really nice. The remote has settings to auto dim or fully brighten the lamp quickly. You can also dim or brighten it one step at a time. I did think the lamp was going to be a little taller, but it works well for hanging over a couch.The lamp comes with everything you need (including the remote batteries). It was really easy to assemble. It has minimal directions, but they were not really needed. It took me about 5-10 minutes to have it fully functioning and plugged in. The quality is definitely there. The base is super heavy and all of the materials are nice. The shade comes rolled up, but snaps onto the metal rims and then attaches with velcro for the final step. It is sturdy and well made. I would recommend it.

This is a great looking lamp! Looks more expensive than it is.

Very easy to assemble (less than 10 minutes), feels and looks high quality, adjustable light brightness levels, adjustable light temperatures, and it comes with a remote! It’s better than what I wanted!
