Information galore...
This book does exactly what it says in the title! Explains the animation process from script to the screen. It has some excellent techniques for you to follow (I highly recommend), but overall, I don't feel as though it is aimed towards the animator, it is more of a hard-fact text.My main hang-up with this book was the fact that the explanations were long-winded, and most of the more elaborate wording was not really needed. If you want to see how a traditional studio works, and the various roles available, then pick it up, but, for an animator, I don't think it's needed in your collection.

Interesting book.
As I don't know anything about animation, for me this book is usefull and interesting. The subjects are explained superficially and maybe for those who are professional animators this book will be useless.
