Best humidifier ever. Never had a better experience with a smart app than with Dreo. Great features and controls. Always accessible wherever and shows real time updates. Super easy to clean. Quiet. The lights are pleasant when wanted but can be turned off at any time. Never felt better at night

I’m one of those people who purchase items at Amazon and only realize later I have to make another trip to the UPS Store. FINALLY a GREAT product that will not be going to the return bin. The humidifier is beautifully designed. What? A plain old humidifier beautifully designed? Yes! There is the base, the tank and a cover. However, the large center column that pushes out the water is backlit and changes colors depending on amount of humidity in the room. Three different colors show dry, comfortable and wet. I’m sitting in the bedroom looking at this unit and I find sometimes I just stare at it. The water shoots up the column out the top but since it’s backlit you see bubbles in the water and with the light it’s sort of looking at the bubbles in a fish tank. Am I weird that I find the reverse waterfall captivating? I guess I am because just looking at the tank is very relaxing,(yes really!) There are so many things I like about this unit that to list them all now would take three pages. As far as controlling the unit, DREO has its own app that you use to totally control the humidifier: level of humidity, beep sound on/off, turn front LED display on/off, auto/manual and level of mist entering a room. The app does pretty much everything you want to activate all the controls. If you are sensitive about noise in a bedroom when you are trying to sleep, I can honestly say that the unit is extremely quiet. As I stated, if lights or noise disturb you at night, you are able to turn off front display, light in center console and switch it to totally auto control without having to worry about adjusting air flow or amount of humidity. All you have to do is press sleep mode on the app itself. On top of all this you’re able to control the humidity with Alexa so you don’t even have to get out of bed. It’s not very often that I rave about a product for sale on Amazon, however this appears to be an almost perfect appliance with a great app. Oh yes, app was very easy to set up and guides you through every step including linking it with Alexa. Is this a perfect find? Could be however I’ll update this review after I’ve used it for a while but as of now I don’t foresee any problems! UPDATE: 3/2/2025 As a former engineer I am very selective about the products I purchase, and now sure enough I have a gripe! I’ve found that while utilizing Alexa you are unable to ask to change humidity level. I said “Alexa increase humidity level” but it did not respond. Sort of like a lot of guys talking to their wives! I’ve also discovered that in auto mode it defaults to a very low output which was not effective to increase the humidity in my master bedroom. Funny that it’s called a MASTER bedroom because the dog runs the house and not me!!

I had a humidifier for many years before buying this one. The previous one was so bad, I'm actually amazing I used it for so long. It was a bottom fill and was very hard to clean, more like impossible, parts of the humidifier you couldn't get to so it just started growing bacterial. The opening on the bottom to add water was extremely loud and hard to twist, too. I stumbled on this Dreo brand and I've had it for over a month and a half now and used it everyday since I got it. It is always on and automatically sensing. I will admit, when I first started using it it was leaking quite a bit... and I was trying to figure out why it was leaking and I'm pretty sure it was because there was not enough air flow on the bottom of the device. So the timeline of the leaking, I bought it for about a week it was leaking and leaking and during that week I was trying to figure out why and then since after figuring it out it has never leaked again, I just keep it elevated so airflow can pass on the bottom. I put mine on top of 4 coasters, two on either ends of the humidifier and it no longer leaks! I clean the humidifier every 200 hours when it notifies my the 200 hours are up, there's about 8 different pieces this humidifier has that I need to clean which I actually like because the more I can clean the less likely it will mold and grow bacterial. I know lots of people complain that there's a lot of pieces to clean but if you think about it, this humidifier you can reach every part of the humidifier so if you just keep everything clean the thing could last forever, assuming the electrical side of the humidifier never breaks. It is also extremely quiet, so quiet I bet you probably can't even hear it. I like that the light can be turned on or off, I turn it on during the day to see what the humidity level is and turn it off during the night as I want darkness while sleeping. The angle of where to route the air is nice, I just wish I could angle it a bit more, like maybe 20 or 25 degrees but I still like it! I always have it angled forward. Another thing I really like about this humidifier is I can actually put essential oils in it so it puffs good smelling stuff into my air (just put the essential oils on the pad that pops out on the bottom back). I also really like how nice it looks, I bought the white color and it looks pretty sleek in my opinion, not some ugly thing sitting somewhere. The build quality seems very good too! I'm planning on buying the next size up of this humidifier as I love this so much!

My place is around 950 SQFT. I was suffering through the winter with 18%-23% humidity because my old humidifier died. I ordered this one and put it on high and set the humidity to 50% - Three days later I was there. That sounds like a long time, but for this small of a humidified that's great. I put it down to 45% and let is stay there. Now it only kicks in a few times a day. The first two days I filled it three times. Now I just top it off. Regulates humidity perfectly. Can be filled quickly - the top lifts off to fill with a pitcher, or the tank can be removed. It's super quiet - hardly hear a thing even on high. Quality is excellent and it's a great value.

We use this humidifier every day, and it works consistently well. It feels well made, has been reliable, and offers excellent value. Program to be on overnight. Low noise. Nice collor. Nice size. Have to fill every three days.

Needed a humidifier for my plants. I own Dreo smart ceiling fan and tower fans. Love their products and support. This humidifier is perfect. Top fill. Didn't realize how nice this feature would be because my old one had to be flipped upside down and carried back full of water. This top lid comes off and easily is filled with pitcher. Everything disassembles for easy clean. The humidistat works well and is usually accurate within +-5%. The auto feature is perfect. Keeps me from getting too dry or running too long and wasting water. Holds one gallon but due to auto feature it lasts for days. I tend to use only distilled water in my unit but this one does have some sort of filter for hard water. Very nice. Smart feature work perfectly. I already had the app and this auto connected with zero issues. Very easy to set up and adjust. Very customizable. Get this unit. You won't regret it.

I know I shouldn't get this excited over a humidifier, but this thing is amazing!! It's so easy to set up and sync with my phone and Alexa. The top fill option is great and for something that looks so compact it holds a lot more water than you'd think. And the best part for me is the way you can set it to EXACTLY the level of humidity you want in your room/home and walk away. It tracks the humidity in your air and shuts itself off when it reaches the level you want, so a single fill can last for days. Then starts back up again when it drops below optimal. And of course it shuts off and notifies you when it has run dry. It even tells you when it's time to switch out the filter. You can control of this from anywhere with your phone or by voice using Alexa. I will recommend this to everyone. **UPDATE** Still love the functionality of this humidifier, but the filter that is supposed to eliminate the white dust is a bit of a disappointment. After several days of use EVERYTHING is covered with a layer of super fine dust. Plan to dust often.

Love, lovee, loveeeee this humidifier! I recently upgraded from a much smaller and cheaper brand. I love that it tells me the percentage of the humidity in my room, it was purchased for my plants (not myself lol), and they seem to love it. I also enjoy the fact that I can use an app to control it and monitor it as well. It does shut off once it’s reached the set humidity you want and will turn back on if the humidity drops. It’s pretty easy to fill, I have been using well/sink water (which I know is a no, no but I do have a filter in there that I purchased and plan to switch to distilled water). I will say, even though it’s for my plants, I can breathe better. Great purchase honestly, I was beyond excited when it arrived. Also, it will change colors based on the levels in your room.. it does take a little bit to get up higher in humidity (50-60% range), but it does maintain the level pretty well.

The device is impressively good. A friend recommended it to me, and I’m glad I bought it. The steam output is surprisingly strong, with multiple power levels. The app is very useful — I didn’t think I’d need it, but it’s great for adjusting lights and power from bed, especially at night for less noise. The noise level is lower than expected; I can even sleep with it next to my bed, though this depends on each person. It’s easy to clean, and on maximum power the tank lasted about 40 hours at 50% humidity in a 3.5 × 3 m room. It raised the humidity from 30% to 50% in around 10 minutes. I happily recommend it.

Esta genial. Cumple totalmente mis expectativas. Parece grande pero la realidad no ocupa tanto. No hace apenas ruido por la noche en modo nocturno y mira q soy muy sensible a cualquier ruido por la noche. La app es muy fácil de manejar. Lo recomiendo.
