Having to be lactose free, I tried several different brands of hot cocoa mixes. However, MilkBoy tastes the most like the Nestles, Carnation, Swiss Miss etc. I microwave some lactose free milk, add three heaping teaspoons of the cocoa mix, top it with marshmallows and it tastes extremely milky and chocolate! Just like a good cup of hot cocoa should taste! I’d definitely recommend this product. It may be a little pricey, but it makes up for it in pure satisfaction! And it doesn’t make my lactose intolerance flare up!👍

This product mixes well in the almond milk I use. I prefer a richer chocolate flavor but it’s very good for Swiss Chocolate. Not too sweet.

I make this with either hot water or milk. Very good either way.

I've been a lifelong Swiss Miss fan. It takes something as amazing as this to get me to pick something else. Add to that, I have Celiac so allergen safety is also a must. This is from Switzerland and their allergen messaging was clear. With that hurdle cleared, I found that they're not lying when they say it mixes well with hot milk. Or cold milk, but I didn't try that. I was expecting some kind of clumpy mess, but it didn't happen. It really is as easy as the packets of Swiss Miss, and better for me since I'm using real milk.And it's yummy. None of the above matters if it's not delicious. And it is. In a very large mug, I poured until it was 2/3 full with milk, zapped in the microwave until hot, and mixed two tablespoons of mix into it. It was almost too sweet. Next time I'm going to add some black cocoa. (You know about black cocoa right? Double-Dutched cocoa?)

I had high hopes for this. While it was easy on my stomach and tastes fine, I didn’t have an amazing experience drinking it like I was hoping. It’s good but forgettable.

As soon as the weather turns cold, I turn to hot chocolate! Growing up in San Francisco with Ghirardelli everything from treats to hot chocolate and hot fudge, I am very picky about my hot chocolate. It has to be really good quality! I can’t even drink Swiss miss. Their all-natural version was atrocious, bland, and mostly sugar. This is a step way up from Swiss miss but still not quite my favorite. But that’s OK, for the large container and the price, I will not complain about this hot chocolate whatsoever. It melts very nicely and creates a milky smooth hot chocolate. I prefer to use whole milk, and it’s just as I hoped it would be. I am not a fan of dark chocolate, so a lot of higher-end mixes lack that milky flavor that I love and leave a gross, bitter taste on my tongue. But for a true hot cocoa, pure Ghirardelli cocoa in a pot with sugar will always do the trick when a mix like this is not available.UPDATE: I truly love the milkiness of this and crave it daily. It’s delicious with a teaspoon of instant coffee for a mocha that tastes a lot better than starbucks!.
