You get everything you need in this set. The head guard is just as good and any other dipped foam with face mask. The chest guard is great as well and offers a decent amount of padded protection. The remainder of the items are not that great but functional. There is minimal padding and they are stiff. They will work fine for children getting started and testing out the sport but you will likely upgrade these quickly.
