Requested these to hang in my house for Halloween/día de los muertos.. they would absolutely work for Diwali and I've seen something similar up in local Indian groceries in years past.The pompoms are made of thin plastic. You'll have to spend some time individually fluffing each piece, but you could do it while watching TV no problem. The cord they are strung on has a plastic loop at each end to make hanging from a hook or pin easier. Each pompom is separated by what looks like a piece of green plastic straw.Honestly, they're really cute. I didn't need all 5 strands so I gave a few to a friend who was delighted to receive them for her own decorating plans.I'd say $16 is a good price for these. They feel well made and I'll def be able to use them for many, many years to come. Not a one-time use decoration.Shipping took a while, and I don't know if it was the seller or Amazon, so just keep that in mind.

These marigold artificial garlands are high quality yet quite light weight . The key highlight is that the thread they used to make these garlands is quite strong and is expected to last the distance.The price of this product is slightly higher and therefore it doesn't offer that good a value of money . Getting them straightened up was quite straight forward you really didn't need to do anything. Just leave them out there in the open and they will unpack themselves and becomes fluffy in sometime. The length is as listed which is good.They do give out Diwali warmth already and look good when used in a patterned way.Overall decent product.

the "garlands" come very tightly (vac) packed and first impression could be misleading. once you take them out of the packaging and fluff the 'flowers' a bit, they look realistic enough for decorations. adds vibrant colors to any celebration.
