SMC Networks SMCANT-OM5 EliteConnect Desktop Omni-Directional 5DBI Antenna (2.4 GHz)

I purchased this antenna to improve my in-car connection experience at wifi hotspots while traveling. My only complaint is that it came without any paperwork whatsoever. While it seems like a rather basic task to attach an antenna, I was hoping for a little guidance on antanna placement (for optimal performance), and which plug on the SMC2532W-B card to use (The card has 2 plugs, the antenna only one.)As best as I can tell, it doesn't seem to matter which plug you choose, and placing the antenna in the middle of my car roof seems to work fairly well. I guess for the price you can't expect very much documentation. As long as you are aware of this when you buy it, I believe you'll be happy with this antenna.

When I ordered this item, I thought the antenna AND the PC card were included. Thats what the picture shows. Since I don't have the SMC card shown, or an antenna jack on my laptop, I cannot evaluate the antenna. Amazon.com should make it clear that the PC card is NOT included.
