It works and all the additional ports are nice, it doubles as a usb hub and sd card reader if you need it.

So far so good.
It works perfectly for watching movies. I will be testing it further yo see how it does with converting movies to digital. If you want to use it to watch bluray movies, a good media player is power dvd 24 ultra. You can use it for free, or pay the one time for premium features.

Worked Well ONCE and failed forever after!
Worked Well ONCE and has not worked since on my Windows Surface Laptop. Computer will not list it among external drives.
