Why did you pick this product vs others?:I loved that it included a booklet with photos to identify the mold. You did not need to send it into a company and pay for their analysis. Besides, you could also send this company photos of the mold and they would help you identify it and how to treat it.This was really easy to set up and I was impressed that within 48 hours mold had started growing in these Petrie dishes. I could smell mildew in my house, but I couldn’t determine where it was coming from. This product helped me to pinpoint the areas of mold and that helped me not only save time but money. I would definitely buy again or recommend it to anyone I know. Great job and they got back to me very quickly to identify what the mold was when I emailed them the photos. Awesome customer service. I can’t recommend them enough.

I purchased the 12-pack in case I messed some up, but it's easy & straightforward, instructions are clear. The booklet is informative with examples of different molds for identification. From the three testing methods, I did 6 rooms using the air quality method. After about 48 hours mold started appearing in every dish.The booklet also includes different methods of removing the mold. Great starting point. Customer service is outstanding . If uncertain what you're looking at, take some clear pictures & email to the company. I've gotten a prompt, professional & courteous reply with a detailed description within a day or two.Excellent product, highly recommend

This product works exactly as advertised, quick lab response, and pretty fascinating, especially for homeschool! I need to get an air quality test now, because although this confirmed the presence of mold spores, I don't know how concentrated they are in a specific area, and I don't know where they're coming from. I'm not sure how actually helpful it was except to start me on this journey of figuring out if we actually have a mold problem. It was inexpensive, easy, and interesting in any case...

Has everything you need compared to similar kits that I've used in the past and the spore idnetication book is nice, although could use some more information and it's to be remembered that this might give you some leads as to what types and kinds of mold(s) are growing in your home...a true professional whom uses a spore trap sample directly to the lab is best for accurate answers.With that, it's incredibly easy to use, functional, and shows you the " hot spots " if you have any in your home. I always recommended to take one outside as a "control" so that you have a baseline as mold is usually greater/present/expected outdoors so it will also tell you how often to keep your windows open/closed.Overall incredibly easy to use, good value, and the accuracy is spot on--just remember not professional.

I was impressed with how complete this kit is! It comes with everything you need gloves, labels, instructions, and plenty of test plates. Super easy to follow, even for someone who’s never done mold testing before.

The petri dishes experiments worked as described. I believe the results to be accurate, as the photos in the accompanying pamphlet, or internet searches, confirm the results from the petri dish. I waited longer than two days to send the petri dish photographs to the lab, and I believe that provided me a clearer understanding of the molds that appeared, as they matured. Make sure to follow exactly the included instructions, if there is any mold (I got 4 of the petri dishes with funguses out of the 6 provided and used) it will be easier for you to identify the rooms/spaces the samples were taken from. Everything one needs, including hands protection, is included in the kit. Excellent and very quick, accurate lab response with clear notes about their findings. Great product overall.
