These are advertised as wooden. The listing even mentions wood as the material. I received a plastic one. Completely different look and feel!

It's not wood, it's plastic, and it's pretty brittle and cheap-looking at that. It doesn't even look like wood - it's just brown. You could probably get an effective massage with it for as long as it lasts, but there are certainly better - and genuinely wooden - massagers out there for similar money. It's not strong enough for any use that would cause the thing to bend.
