***update*** The ties do not hold the cover in place very well and come loose from the weight. One is starting to fray and the cover is very hot in Florida and I keep my a/c at 70 at night. I love the feel of the cover and softness and I am getting good sleep for the first half or the night and then I have to throw the blanket off because it traps heat too much. I wish there was a cooling cotton cover.I got one yesterday and here is my take: my honest review. I am hot natured so keep this in mind. The Minky fabric on mine was so soft and comfy and cozy. The cover was a bit difficult to put on and it took two people. Weight, I was good with 15 pound weight,( I am 155#s) but didn’t like it on my feet because one of my feet has issues and gets uncomfortable when almost any weight goes on it, but the rest of me was fine. It was a bit hot and I keep my home at 70 in sunny Florida at night! It is a bit difficult the roll over onto you side or back once it’s in place, but can be done. I have several spinal issues, lots of pain and never get sleep.The reason for four stars. I love the blanket but am concerned at how long the ties will last, the heaviness of the blanket puts a lot of stress on the few strings that hold the cover. One is already slightly unraveling. Only time will tell. One day so far.***I checked my Fitbit this morning and I got triple the deep sleep I normally get, twice the REM and I slept for 8.5 hours when I usually get 4-5. So, I believe it helps. My pain levels were much better and instead of taking two hours to get out of bed, it took ten minutes.***

I prefee sleeping with weight on me, so I have a comforter, a mountain of blankets, and still throw pillows on over me. With it being summer now that isn't working because I over heat and have to throw all my layers off. I ordered the 15 pound and it is perfect for my size.I love that it has the duvet cover. It makes cleaning so much easier, I prefer the blue color to the plain grey the blanket itself is, and it's very soft. There was the extra set of ties (6 when you only use the corner 4) but I just ignored those.There is also something else I love. The filling itself. When shopping around, etsy had several custom options. Since I plan on having this for a very long time I wanted something that would be very nice. A glass bead upgrade would set you back another 20-40 bucks. On top of the higher starting cost and longer shipping time (one I was looking at was a 6 week waiting period), makes this a clear win.I haven't tried the traditional filling but the glass beads don't hold heat that much so I can sleep with it on and I don't boil. I love this.

I have been sleeping with this blanket for a while now; and it’s changed my life. I have slept with it every single night since purchasing. I will 110% be purchasing again, and as gifts. The cover is SO SOFT and I personally love the texture; as I’m trying to fall asleep it’s nice to run my hands over it. The weight is evenly distributed and doesn’t feel like chunky poly pellets. This is an amazing blanket you will not regret purchasing!! Seller: PLEASE PLEASE sell the covers of your blanket separately!! That way when I’m washing my cover I can still use another to sleep with :) thank you!!!!

I shopped around for a while looking for the best weighted blanket. After looking at the reviews for this one and the actual gravity blanket, it appeared this was the better choice. Not only was this blanket cheaper but it appeared to be crafted better as well. The gravity blanket allows the beads to flow throughout meaning if you shift or hold the blanket up the beads will all fall down and not stay in place. But this weighted blanket keeps all the beads in their spot creating an even flow of weight.I can sometimes have really bad anxiety and I constantly jiggle my legs. Yet the first day with this blanket I stopped completely and my anxiety eased. The first night sleeping under it I passed out, and had a full night of deep sleep unlike I’ve had in a long time. I didn’t think the change would be this instant but I feel so much better after having this blanket. I would recommend it time and time again!

I have restless leg syndrome. I bought this product and it helped. It was quite warm. I noticed that my toe, which I had had surgery on prior to was bothering me, so I had to stop using it. So I would cautiously recommend it if you have any foot problems because it puts too much weight on those areas.

I can't say enough about this blanket! I had been thinking about ordering one for a few months and finally bit the bullet and ordered this one. While I don't exactly have anxiety I am kind of a sensory person and simply thought I would enjoy the feeling of weight while relaxing or sleeping. I could not be happier!. The quality is great. The stitching is strong. There are sewn in loops to attach to the very soft duvet cover and it doesn't slip at all. I love the feeling of the minky fabric. It has glass sand inside and is weighted but not hot and it is not loud when it moves around. I had initially thought about ordering a 20lb one thinking I really like things heavy but ended up getting the 15lb one because that is closer to 10% of my body weight and I'm glad I did. I definitely think going heavier would have been too heavy. I would absolutely recommend this blanket!

The material on this blanket is incredibly soft. The design choice to have two separate pieces is a huge anxiety curber- I dont once worry that my blanket might be permanently out of commission over a spill or stain. The weight is comfortable and relaxing, and for the first several nights I hardly even moved in my sleep!Its comforting, easy to maintain and my cat loves to curl up on top of it next to me. We both approve!

I wanted to love this product but it just didn’t suit my needs. Cover was very cozy and I liked the extra warmth on a cold fall night. I do not have trouble sleeping or anxiety so I just found it to be too heavy. I have never been able to keep blankets on the bed so this just ended up on the floor and it is too heavy to keep lifting. I found when using it for lounging, it made my legs and hips ache. Sad it didn’t work for me so sending it back.
