This tea is like any other tea, nothing super special about it because it’s just green tea so it will taste like any other green tea, i would say tho the smell of it is very closer to matcha, a little goes a long way and i definitely not my moneys worth. I don’t like to falsely write reviews but i’d say this is a pretty good tea and yummy.

Some organic green teas from Japan are terrible and low quality, even if the packaging looks nice. Usually price will give you a possible indication of this. Then you have teas like this that strike a good balance of price and quality. For the price, this tea is excellent quality, I'm very happy with it. This particular tea you should not over steep as it will become bitter. I'd say no more than 3 mins if you want a smooth taste without the bitterness. I know 3+ mins is a long time for standard brewing practices, but I steep longer with some other brands with minimal bitterness.

Quality sencha with nice smooth taste.

This tea is my go-to favorite because it is good quality for the price. The great thing about this tea is it makes cold brewed tea as well as it does hot brewed. For cold brewed I leave this tea in a diffuser overnight in the fridge using a glass mason jar. Refreshing hot or cold!

Decent loose leaf sencha green tea authentically made in Japan. Not of the highest quality but for this price, it is of good value.

Husband has been drinking this for months. He love the flavor and taste. Says the tea quality is very good compared to others he’s tried in the past.
