Good buy and a pleasant light is created just right for us.

Not as useful as expected. Too big for our lamp fitting had to adjust, my own mistake, make sure you measure aperture of your lamp before purchase. Does not work as a dimmable bulb and light is more warm white as opposed to ice white. Having said this, price was good and it is being used.

A good source of soft light for reading especially from my over bed lamp. It’s best to handle the bulb with a cloth, not sticky fingers! It is not sold as dimmable but can cope with my lamp which brightens in stages with a tap of the finger. As yet I’m unable to record its lifespan.

I have purchased at least 100 Crompton bulbs both 2700k and 4000k over the last year and although I like their halogen bulb type design their QC leaves a lot to be desired as some bulbs fail, they start flashing and dimming, way before they should and others in the same light fitting keep on working. I doubt I will purchase any more.

Perfect replica for original bulbs. When the original display bulbs were going they were a nightmare flashing on and off. The display model might have been on so many years for all I know. New ones perfect.

Bought twelve bulbs for two new lights. Colour and brightness are good but unfortunately after only one month two bulbs appear to be failing, intermittently going off and on. I have contacted the supplier and await their response.

So far works ok and gives good light. Bought a cheaper product from Amazon and 4 replacement bulbs lasted less that a week: would recommend not purchasing the Cheaper ones

Six months on from install and they all work fine, no dimming over that time as other cheaper brands tend to do. Also, these are quite small so fit in my bathroom lights with the covers on easily.ONE YEAR UPDATEAfter the initial good review above i can now confirm that after 51 weeks, all four i purchased are now dead. Very disappointing.Would not buy again and have revised stars down from five to two stars. The only saving grace is they didn't dim over time, they just went pop when their time was up.18 MONTH UPDATESo it turns out that these are the only bulbs that will fit my specific bathroom light, and, disappointingly i have had to purchase more of them over the months.They all go pop after between 45 weeks and 70 weeks so i have to keep a supply in the house in order to carry out my bathroom duties in a safe and lit environment.Considering changing actual light fitting as might be more cost effective long term.
