Fits 2001 f350
Although the tube is about 1.5" longer than the factory shock, this works for my 2001 F350, verified after turning the wheel the max in both directions after the install. Since I replaced all the other shocks recently, I decided to change this out since I had never changed it and the truck has 178,000 miles on it. I decided on this one since it utilized the factory mounts, rather than the KYB unit I bought that had its own weaker looking mount that I returned.

Plain Jane Part
Got this for a 2000 F250 (V10 4wd) to replace a dead/leaking OEM damper. This truck is a utility tool so no need for fancy hi-po part. Made in the USA Monroe (not adverse to offshore manufactured aftermarket parts and these days that's where they mostly come from: Asia) So once it stops raining, off to the install rodeo. Work safe my DIY friends, DB! **Install tip, wire brush/clean stationary side u-bracket and use some Windex on rubber bushing cause it's a tight fit! otherwise a quick install. Update: I didn't realize how toasted the old unit was until I had to go to town (live in BFE) and wow what an improvement in steering feel!!!

Monroe Magnum quality shocks
Monroe Magnum shocks are all I use and have for years. I would like front stabilizer shock was yellow. Still 5 star.

Didnโt last a year !
3 stars might be too many. This didnโt even last a yearโฆ..matter fact it only lasted about 9 months. I got it for my 2002 Ford Excursion. Thatโs a 3/4 ton chassis and weighs 9,000lbs. We do a lot of camping and towing. I probably should have gotten a heavier duty more expensive one but I thought Iโd give this a try. Itโs been leaking for quite a while now and is all worn out. I ordered a tough country for $70 and Iโm certain that one will last. If you have a light duty or even medium duty truck youโd probably do fine, but anything else I would t recommend this product.

Provides good stability, well made, holds up well - Monroe is a good brand.
I installed this damper ~8 months ago. It's holding up very well, easy to install, provides good stability, Monroe is a good brand w/ great value for the money. Would buy again.

Bolted right on, no issues.
Fits and works perfectly on Superduty. Comes with the main mounting bolt and spacer. Does what its supposed to do, take out some of the vibration in the steering systems of those trucks. Doesn't need to be fancy, this fits the need perfectly.
User
Perfect Fit
Exactly as described and a very easy swap for the tired and leaky one on my '02 F250 7.3 (342k). Bolted right up and improved steering feel, reduced wander, and almost completely eliminated the bump steer I was having.

Night and Day
We busted the old stabiliser while off roading many years ago and had to take it off the truck. At the time it didn't seem to make much difference so we just drove it. Fast forward to now and what a difference. It's like driving a new truck! Install was a little tough. The instructions say to "Install the same way the old one was on the vehicle". Not having one on there meant we had to assume a few things. It's on, and it works, and I'm happy.

Inconsistency
One bolt hole was smaller than the other.
