These felt pieces make it fun and easy to share the classic story of the Three Little Pigs with kids. I use it in preschool and it is perfect for them. I let each child have 1-2 pieces and call them up to the felt board to stick it on when we get to their section of the story. There are a total of 14 pieces and they are nice and big! The colors are bright, vibrant and beautiful. I love that they also allow some latitude in how you tell the story. You can leave the fire and pot in to talk about catching the wolf at the end or leave them out and have him run away. You can talk about the kids gathering items to build their houses with or leave them out. It just depends on how much time I want to take to tell the story. The pieces are made of a thick, quality felt and stick to a felt board without any slipping or falling. They stay flat in little hands and have held up through several uses. I feel like this is a great value and a ton of fun to share with kids. It is a kind of retro cool way to tell stories and so much easier to share the story with a group as opposed to trying to show them pages out of a book.

I love these classic felt story board pieces! They are sturdy and have vibrant colors. They have all the pieces you’d need to tell the three little pigs story. (They’re are more pieces than what I pictured). She’s still pretty young and doesn’t really understand but we still had fun with it. I can’t until she gets older and understands more and more.
