The Gel-Nimbus 22 offers the best comfort thanks to the introduction of Adaptive Gel, which ensures greater cushioning under effort. The improved FluidRide improves responsiveness with increased lightness and a 360° Fluid Skin upper adapts to the foot of the runner while strategically placed layers wrap and support the foot well throughout the run. A gradient mesh combined with a 3D print will ensure an excellent fit combined with the right degree of flexibility and support. A different type of midsole will give more space to your fingers. The star shape makes the separate eyelets more deformable, improving static and dynamic fit.

Comfort with every step
I tried them on when i got them. I love them. They fit. I got my normal size and they were neither too big or too small. The perfect amount of cushioning. I could see these lasting more than a few weeks unlike my more recent shoes. Heck the memory foam of my new balances barely lasted a day and that was only cause i had no other choice. I will never get memory foam again. This is my 4th pair of shoes in a month and i could see these lasting. Mind you the paces i put the others through many have had something to do with it too. I work outside for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. I need something that is both comfortable on concrete and will last. The first pair were too big even though i got a 10. The second pair, were ok but i had already worn a hole in the sole by week 2. Then i tried the new balance and made the mistake of missing the portion of the description that said memory foam. That is my second pair like that and i hated both of them. Neither lasted more than a day. I would rather wear the holey shoes then those, so i wore them till these came in. The shoes would have probably been ok in normal circumstances. But didn’t work for my work environment. Although the first two were same brand but different style and one of them did say slip resistant work shoes. Maybe it just didn’t mean concrete environment. I hope these shoes work out great. I am tired of playing return the product so that i can try something different. I think the reason i was so ready to try those was because work requires black shoes. And the first two were all black and these are black with some grey because one of my coworkers said they barely notice the shoes and someone else suggested cross trainers for work. So i am hopeful these will stand the test of time.

Good for under-pronating feet and arch support
I bought these shoes during the Covid-19 pandemic to be able to get out and do some walking. Several years ago I had my tender feet professionally measured (Read: by someone at a specialty shoe store, not at a cheap chain store), and I was shocked to learn that I have size 10.5 DOUBLE wide feet. Not just regularly wide, but EXTRA wide. Which explains why I haven't been able to fit into a 10 wide, or even an 11 wide, but that 11s and 12s are too long. Actually, only my toes and instep are wide; my heels are narrow. I also have a permanently swollen right ankle, and my left foot is a bit longer and wider than my right foot. And my arches are falling. Now, let's see you try to successfully find anything comfortable with all those parameters! Well, to my great surprise, these shoes actually work for me! I have had to buy men's sneakers for the past several years because I couldn't find women's shoes that were wide enough. I also absolutely HAVE to try on a lot of shoes, in the store, before I manage to find a single pair that feel good, so I was extra nervous to buy these online. I was able to get 12 wide, and they are a teeny bit more snug in the toes than I'd like, but not too long for once! They have decent arch support and they are designed to help feet that are either normal or under-pronate, as mine do, which is far less common than over-pronating. I can't use the extra holes, but I found to my delight that what looks like a decorative stripe on the top of the tongue is actually an extra loop. I threaded the laces through and crossed them, and now I can tie the laces snugly enough to keep my narrow heels in place with just a bit of movement, but the opening of the shoes are wide enough to fit my wide toes inside without undoing the laces every time! The pull loops on the backs of the heels helps to keep the heels from caving in when I slide the shoes on, too. I can tell when I wear these shoes that they are helping to correct my stance, but in case I need more support or correction, the insoles do peel out (with some effort, so I didn't try too hard). If the toe boxes are still more snug than I'd like after I get the shoes broken in, I believe I will be able to find orthotics that are thinner in the forefoot area, with more support in the heels and arches. Or maybe for now, I'll just stuff the toes with crumpled newspaper and see if I can stretch them a tad. But to be able to even fit into women's sneakers at all is huge for me! I've worn them for a few days now, and so far, so good. I like that this color blends well with jeans, too. Having such large feet, I have no desire to draw undue attention to them with bright colors or solid black or white. I also bought different Asics for my young daughter with narrow feet, long big toes, and over-pronation, and they have worked well for her so far, too. I will stick with this brand if they wear well over the long haul. It's a relief to find good shoes that don't look like orthopedic footwear.

Very comfortable, high quality shoes.
I have small, wide feet. I used to wear New Balance, but I've switched over to Asics and Saucony. I've mostly used these shoes for everyday wear. I bought them in 2020, and they've only wore down in the toe area. They kept catching, so I plan on buying new shoes after writing this review. I've received many complements on my shoes. They have eye-catching accents, but because the rest of the shoe is black (black with seafoam green and orange accents), they can be worn with many outfits.TDLR: Good for wide feet. Last ages as an everyday shoe. Not sure how long they last as athleticwear.

Best walking/hiking shoes!
I order this new pair as a backup, here is my story:I'm a 62 years old lady, not crazy about running, but still enjoy the outdoors and little hiking. Last year my boyfriend bought me an ASICS Gel-Venture7 and soon it became my favor walking shoes, I wear it to wherever the long walk is needed. Had not use it for hiking until last month we went to Hawaii, hiked to the waterfall up and down the steep hills, I was surprised my feet didn't hurt at all. Not like before when I wore the other famous brand walking shoes which walking downhill hurts my toes.Couple days later, I took the charrange to hike up to the Pillbox in Kailua. That's first time I use the Gel-Venture on the dirt trail and it worked great on gripping the rocky & dirt road. Our younger friends were sliding, slipping in some difficult area but me and my 65 years old boyfriend both climbed to the top and back down without sliding because we both wear the Gel-Venture7. Never thought hiking is so much fun until you have the right shoes! That's why, I decided to order another pair of Gel-Venture7 as soon as I came back.
