This guys voice is pure perfection! Every song is amazing and beautiful to listen to. This collection has every song I grew up listening to and more! Perfect addition to my CD Collection of the seventies!

GOOD: price for 5 albums can't be beat. Even if you only want 2 of the 5, it's a great deal.GOOD: takes up a small amount of shelf space.GOOD: all sound fineGOOD: "My Little Town" is available here, on "Breakaway." Great song.NOT GOOD: yes, these are album cover reproductions of both sides, but the print for song titles on the flip side is beyond small (not being re-done or re-set for the 5-disc set) - original print on jackets this small looks like minus-4 point. Get the magnifier.NOT GOOD: depending on your need for "Angel Clare", this may be the least expensive way to get this surprisingly high-priced album. For disc choices, Amazon has an SACD version, new, available for $25.99, then an older edition (issued 1-12-2008, B0012 GMW80) used, for $135.12 (seriously??), and a middle-aged edition (issued 6-16-2010, B000197L48) for $33.76. All that said, when "Angle Clare" is in this $17+ set, that could be very tempting. HOWEVER, there are a pair of minor flaws in "Barbara Allen" (track 9) that was in my initial order, and also on a replacement of the set. Flaws last 8-12 seconds, tiktiktiktik, but don't obscure the music.

I love all the cd's in this collection and Angel Clare is a masterpiece! Art's voice sounds most exquisite on that album and it should be listened to on fine stereo equipment! I had that and Breakaway on vinyl since they first came out, but had not heard the others before. On the vinyl copies I have, the names of the distinguished musical guests are listed on the jacket, people like Jerry Garcia, J.J. Cale, and Toni Tenille. I had not heard the other albums in this collection and this seemed like a good time to finally hear them and a fantastic deal for all four. I love it! However, one of my favorite songs of his is not on any of these- "Second Avenue", which I found on a compilation titled, "Garfunkel".

I wanted to truly buy the original Garfunkel album by itself but when you get the following four for a few bucks more, why not? Sad to say we have gotten so old that we might have all the greatest hits but not the original cd's or albums we used to have. Oh well. Cd's sounded good.

I'm still listening to them. Love his voice, of course. So far, really the Breakaway album the best, but there are good songs on all of them.

One CD sleeve that contains five recorded albums. What a wonderful voice. I have all these on vinyl but wanted them for my car CD player.

The first three albums saw Art Garfunkel slowly sounding less than 1/2 of the Simon and Garfunkel duo. These 3 albums are a good reason to buy this set. The only regretful element is that a small booklet with the notes of these albums would be (an inexpensive) good to have. It is more than having a looking glass as E.g. Watermark had lyrics.

Art Garfunkel's voice is timeless and his legacy with Paul Simon will never die. Pablo Paguia

A lovely collection of Art Garfunkel solo albums, some really achingly beautiful love songs by a great voice.

As another reviewer (Marcia) has pointed out, Scissors Cut has had the track "The Romance" replaced with "Bright eyes". Apparently this is the American version, but the replica sleeve is of the UK release.Shake your head in wonder. I have all these on vinyl from when they were first released and still love them, but prefer the clarity of CD. Now I'll try to find a CD copy of "The Romance" to download. Frustrating!

Loved the music ,that's all of the CDs ! Nicely packaged with individual repro sleeves ,slightly fiddly but overall a nice touch . Recommended to all fans and anyone who loves good music
