Love it
It was hard to find turquoise anything for a kitchen so I was happy when I saw this. It arrived the next day which was fast considering where I live in the country. It arrived packaged very well. Easy to use and it looks fantastic in my kitchen

Absolutely defective, Poorly Made
First one arrived and the black mesh screen on the door was cracked. No problem, returned it and ordered a second one. Second one came and it worked fine for a few days. Then it started shutting off in the middle of a cooking cycle. Happened when using the Instant Start button and the regular timed cook setting. The clock then goes haywire showing weird numbers and symbols. See video.Imagine putting in a bag of popcorn and having to restart the microwave multiple times during a 2 minute cook time. Every bag of popcorn was burnt, yet half the kernels still didn’t pop. Also I sometimes warm up liquids in a disposable Dixie coffee cup to drink on my way to work. Microwave would burn the glue holding the cup seams together. The seams would be burnt black, releasing that glue into my drink and making my house smell like a chemical factory. That’s never happened before, even with more powerful microwaves.Microwave is super attractive and looks sophisticated in the kitchen. But believe the reviews, it’s a terrible machine.

Good. A little noisy.
I love the look of this microwave, and it compliments my kitchen very well. So well, I went ahead and bought the matching toaster! The only downside is that the magnetron is a bit louder than other microwaves I've had (even cheap ones). This isn't a huge problem since I don't microwave often enough for it to be irritating, but I thought I'm mention it anyway. One random problem I personally experienced when first the unit was that defrost mode repeatedly tripped my circuit breaker. Odd, because continuous full power did not. I determined it was just the breaker going out, and I have had no additional issues to date.

Adorable and works well
I knew that this item would come with some sort of defect (as indicated in the write up and reflected in the price). There is a small dent in the metal but this does not hinder the use of the microwave in any way. The small size is perfect for an apartment but still has lots of character. Tiny for many folks but I only use it to defrost on occaion, melt butter, reheat a plate. I do find it to be a bit loud.

WHITE is really CREAM
The ivory/white is really a true CREAM, which is actually what I wanted! - so I am happy! I needed a cream microwave to match my Frigidaire “retro” fridge because Frigidaire doesn’t make a matching microwave … well “cream” is hard to find - even in the retro styles. I think I only found two choices, but I didn’t care for the look of them as much. I really liked the look of this microwave, but I thought the white would clash, so I ordered the putty color first. I didn’t think it would be exact, but in the seller’s stock photos, it looked creamy(ish) to me, and it looked like it might ‘blend’. Well, when I got it, it was significantly darker than it appears in the listing. The putty color is a great shade, don’t get me wrong, but it was way too dark for me (see first photo). I then read reviews from people who said the white was more of a cream, so I thought,”Do I dare take a chance?” On some websites, the color is called ivory, so I expected it to be off-white, but I still feared it would be a cooler and lighter tone than I wanted/needed, but when I got it, it’s perfect! And I personally would call it cream over ivory. Will it be perfect for you? Not if you have a stark-white kitchen. If you want a true cream, then yes. First picture shows the microwave on top of my Frigidaire “cream-colored” retro fridge. I know photos can be deceiving, and I noticed a difference between the stock photos and each of the buyers’ photos, but how do you know which is accurate (compared to how it looks in person)?! I believe my second picture is an accurate depiction of the true coloration. Hope this helps!Regarding all the negative comments regarding the weak wattage, well, yes, 700 watts does not compare to a full-size 1400 watt appliance, but these small microwaves don’t usually come that strong, and if you need the small size, you’ll have to adjust. People said that they had to heat up their food for 2-5 times the usual duration, and that the food still came out lukewarm. My meal called for a two minute cycle, so I figured I’d need to leave it in four minutes (at least), but to be safe, I put it in for three, and tested it. It came out steaming hot! I feel that’s perfectly acceptable, especially since this is not my everyday (in-the-kitchen) microwave. Maybe there are faulty machines out there, but mine seems to work well.Regarding the ease of use, I took off one-star, because, yes, it’s a different system than we are used to here in the US. There are no number buttons, and you need to use a combo of the buttons and the dial to choose your cycle and your desired time, but it’s EASY-ENOUGH to learn! I watched a You-Tube video which simply explained the process and gave a few quick tips. Watch it. You’ll be fine. Just a slight learning curve. It’s still brand new for me, so we’ll see how it fares over time, and if it lasts, but for now, yes, I’d recommend it. Plus it’s just so dang cute. 🤗EDIT: A year and a half later and still going strong. No problems, and heat up time seems close to my normal full-size microwave. Still love the looks, and it’s works great.

Attractive, but not functional!
I purchased this Haden Vintage Countertop Microwave in April 2024, and I wish I could give it a better review, but unfortunately, I can’t.The problems started almost immediately. I didn’t return it because my husband discarded the box before I had a chance to fully test the microwave. It frequently stops in the middle of heating, often within seconds of starting. This happens whether using the Quick Start function or setting a specific cooking time. The display dial begins to flicker, random numbers appear, there’s a loud thud, and then the microwave shuts off. To get it working again, we either have to unplug it and plug it back in or leave it alone until the next day. That’s the only way we’ve been able to reset it.Heating performance is also very inconsistent. Sometimes it heats food thoroughly in just a few minutes, while other times food remains cold even after five minutes. Because of these reliability and performance issues, I would rate its functionality as one star.Thankfully, my husband didn’t get rid of our old microwave, which was still working perfectly. We had only wanted a newer model with a nicer appearance. Otherwise, we wouldn’t even be able to make popcorn consistently. The reason I’m giving this microwave three stars instead of one is because it is very attractive, compact, and has the vintage look I was looking for. Unfortunately, its appearance doesn’t make up for its poor performance and unreliability. My regret is not contacting the company sooner even though I didn’t have the original box.

Yes it a very nice looking piece of junk. READ THIS!! (ACTUALLY ONE STAR)
It did fill the kitchen with smoke once while warming a chocolate chip cookie ( for 35 seconds on 100% power ). So we put it out in the garage, then outside, still to much smoke! This is a nice looking serious fire hazard. I'm thinking about buying another one for the neighbors I've disliked for a long time. I would recommend this for a boat anchor, but I don't think it is heavy enough. It's too big for a book end, or wheel chock. Maybe storage for small hand tools? I would recommend this for anything except a microwave, maybe mosquito repellant. I should have given this 1 star, but I wanted people to read this! My attorney friend said that it shouldn't be called a microwave, he calls it evidence.

Defective, possibly Dangerous
I ordered the Aqua color and it looked shiny and stunning in my kitchen! Unfortunately, when set to heat, the microwave would shut off after 2-3 seconds. Additionally, the display would change numbers randomly while heating as if possessed! It also tripped my breaker although it replaced a microwave of same voltage/wattage. I also noticed many popping and crinkly sounds within the machine after shutoff. Only then did I read the other reviews and saw similar defects reported. I am in the process of returning. Too bad because it sure is pretty and just the right size. :(

Such a nice microwave
It is smaller but still fits a dinner plate. The controls are very easy to get use to just need to ready the manual. Only had a few weeks but no complaints yet.
User
Great customer service
Works great and looks cute. If you have bigger plates, they will not fit in this microwave. This company has fantastic customer service - the first one we got was a lemon and they replaced it, no issues.

NOT WORTH IT $$$$
I purchased the entire kitchen heritage collection in Feb of 2022. I love the colour and retro look. This microwave does not heat anything even slightly warm until at least 5 minutes - I gave up reheating a dinner plate as it is useless - even on highest setting. BEYOND frustrating as it looks great. Contacted Haden directly three times now and still NO response - SUCH a waste of money :-(

Small, stylish, easy to use
Great small microwave. I’ve seen others say this is hard to operate, but it is as simple as push the button to start and turn the knob for time. Easy-peasy. Definitely a space saver size-wise. It is big enough to fit a dish with a 10” microwave cover on it. It is a bit loud, but it doesn’t take long to heat things. At this wattage, it takes about 4mins to boil a cup of water. If you are used to a more powerful microwave it will take a minute or two longer than you are used to.

So Very Cute
I bought this microwave for my daughter who was moving out on her own and wanted her appliances to be "retro" looking. She is thrilled with it and says it works like a dream. I also got her the toaster and kettle in the same style, but in Pink. She loves all her Retro appliances.
