These flicker lights replaced the plain lights in my different outside decorations. They obviously are so much brighter and fun to look at.

I bought these to replace old lights that fit snuggly into the top of my lanterns. Be aware that the design of these is to slip over the lantern opening, not into it. Some of the pictures are misleading. These did not lock into my lanterns but just sat loosely on top. Look closely at the pictures of the lights and measure carefully. The do look really cool though. Unfortunately one lasts all night, the other just a couple of hours.

The media could not be loaded. As other reviewers have noted, it doesn’t fit in a standard lantern enclosure. Why? That’s just STUPID to make it too small.

Lends a cozy mood to a backyard patio area. The 3" size fits many jars for DIYers, and the light lasts a long time at night (so long as it gets good exposure to the sun during the day).

The light tube is not very long. But the running effect is obvious. Encased tube should make this last well outdoors.

The media could not be loaded. These solar flickering flames are awesome! I dropped them onto a couple lanterns I already had in the yard and they've been working consistently ever since. All plastic parts, lightweight and there is tiny hole in the bottom of the tube so they won't fill up with water or condensation. You can see from the picture of them lit up that there is a front side and back side to them. The backside is more concentrated dots of light whereas the front is more diffuse. Realistic flame look at night. A lovely deep fire orange color that doesn't come across as well on my video. These are so much fun I might have to pick up another set!

The media could not be loaded. The bulbs charge well and automatically turn on at dark. The light is not bright enough to illuminate floors or stairs, but the amber color and the random flashing is pleasant as a background lamp. The picture of the flame in the advertisement is unrealistic, the light is more of an irregular multi point flashing than a wispy flame (see video), but I nonetheless like it.
