This is a gem of a book that has something for everyone. From simple, decorative charts, to more elaborate, from country to classy, there really is a great selection. Bought it just for our blue and white "Natucket" guest room and found the perfect chart, which am already working on. So far it looks beautiful and will probably flip it so the patterns face each other. Many thanks to the seller for making it such an easy experience!

I have had this book for years. The designs are classic and could easily be adapted to other color schemes. LARGE EASY TO READ BLACK AND WHITE CHARTS.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this book as it pales alongside most others currently available. The execution of the charts is not particularly expert and the subject matter is often trite. Even though blue and white is my favorite color scheme, I could find nothing in this book that merited hours of toil with the needle and thread. Perhaps you might disagree with me, but do not buy this book sight unseen.

Indubbiamente è un libro molto curato nella sua veste grafica: bella edizione, numerosi disegni arricchiscono le biografie delle 4 autrici e le varie pagine, le foto dei lavori sono accativanti e gli schemi completi.Però non ha corrisposto appieno le mie aspettative avute vedendo la copertina, probabilmente se avessi visto e sfogliato il libro in una libreria non lo avrei acquistato. Lavorando con un solo colore forse non è facile prepare disegni che siano originali e l'impressione generale è di ripetitività, rafforzato dal fatto che il tema è prevalentemente floreale. da 4 autrici avrei preferito davvero 4 stili molto distinti ma forse l'intento era quello di creare un tutto armonico. Un risultato che per me è stato deludente.
