Belkin QODE FastFit Bluetooth Keyboard and Case for iPad mini and iPad mini with Retina Display (Black/Silver)

I really like this keyboard. Bought it for my iPad mini w/ Retina. For the price, it's the best one, IMHO. I saw a few negative reviews regarding the layout of the keys, but they don't match the actual product. There is no good head-on view of the keyboard, so I posted one. It's a little fuzzy, but gives you a good idea of what keys are included where: i[dot]imgur[dot-com]/WCbxHKx.jpgPros:Thin and light. The keyboard/iPad combo fits nicely into my i-Blason Super Cushion Neoprene Pouch.Keys are fairly large, given the size. They bounce back well and have a pleasant clicky feel.The keyboard clasp grabs the iPad easily and the covers the screen of the iPad completely.There are all the function keys you would expect.Paired immediately and stays paired even when the keyboard is turned off and on (or the iPad, for that matter).Cheaper than other options.No cons, but here are a couple nice-to-haves (but these would likely increase the price):Backlit keys.Auto on-off keyboard.Auto-sleep iPad when closed.

This is a must for the iPad mini owner, particularly if he does any emails or note taking. It is far superior to the impression keyboard which comes built into the unit. The Belkin keyboard, although a bit heavier than the standard unit, is very easy to open and set up. A magnet at the edge of the unit allow the keyboard-lid to be quickly attached and when one wished to type, the unit can easily and quickly be moved to a horizontal groove in the keyboard. The keys, almost the size found in a desktop and laptop keyboards, are very easy to use and one makes fewer mistakes in contrast to the touch keypad which is built into the unit. The keyboard can easily be recharged by plugging it into a desktop or laptop computer. Recharging is only done infrequently (after about 80 hours of continuous use). Also, my unit ran about $80 which is well worth the price.In short, this is a highly recommended adjunct to the iPad mini.

I combined this very good little keyboard with an iPad mini on sale and now have one of the most portable and functional minicomputers I have ever seen. Keyboard is not perfect (repeating keys is slow and non-QWERTY location of several punctuation marks and symbols means I make a lot of typos), but it is very good, works well as cover and stand for the iPad, and the combo fits in my iPad mini slip case.

package was wet and warped (like dried and warped when received) t worked though, still a concern taking away 2 stars

this is a very poorly made chinese piece of electronic. it looks cheap and is very flimsy. right out of the box it it was not straight and the metal part was lose from the plastic. cheap plastic parts.

This was obviously a returned item that had already been opened. Plus it was for a full size gen2-4 iPad not for a retina mini. Luckily I have an old iPad that this will fit so I don't have to hassle with returning it. Assuming it even works.

i love it, it's cheap and great. work smoothly and exactly what i was looking for. Robust and battery life in like forever. The thing has great design and fits the ipad like a glove.

I returned this keyboard because I was disappointed in the set up. I thought it was another case, which as it turned out was less expensive.

Nice for those who like to use an iPad Mini Smart Cover but occasionally need a keyboard. The magnetic hinge makes it very easy to setup and close up. While it's best to orient the iPad Mini in landscape while keyboard is on lap, it will support portrait orientation if on a desk. Only feature missing is magnets to hold the case closed like the Smart Cover and other Belkin iPad keyboard cases, but it's a minor one.

An excellent piece of accessories. I work in an environment where I need to be away from my desk but still need to communicate with others over email. The keyboard has helped me in achieving this as well as protecting my IPad. I will recommend this product.
