They aren't noise cancelling; and people will be able to hear the sound when you're listening to them - but I just love them. I use them for bike rides - I know, I know...but I keep them low, and because they aren't inserted, I can hear the traffic just fine. They are a little large for the pocket, but they're thin, so I've slipped them in my jeans and forgotten they were there. The sound is rich, well-balanced, with crisp highs, decent mids, and good bass. Overall, another Soundcore product that has not disappointed! I recommend them whole-heartedly.
