Great alternative grinder! I didn't want to spend the money for the name brand so instead got this one and have used it multiple times to grind different meats and vegetables. It was easy to use, attached to my kitchen-aid mixer with no problem and was a breeze to clean. Definitely worth the money.

Works very well with the sharp blades

I figured I would give this a shot since it is so much cheaper than the name brand.Well worth it. It is well made and grinds quickly and consistent. I ground up 6 pounds of New York strip to make burgers in no time. Grind was great, a very small amount, like a teaspoon sized piece was left in the grinder when I was done.Other reviews say the "chrome fish" comes off in the dishwasher. Well, the tube and other parts are NOT chrome plated, they are polished aluminum so yes, sending it through the dishwasher will make it dull and black. So saying its faulty because they can't read the cleaning instructions is misleading. Hand washing it takes no time at all, and guess what? Its still shiny and no black residue because it wasn't washed in the dishwasher!Next is to grind and process some sausage.

Only used it one time so far to process 6lb of venison. Worked great for that. Seems like it is good build quality. Biggest thing is to remember it is NOT an industrial grinder. I chunked all my meat 1.5”-2” cubes(just smaller than the feed hole) and it ground it as fast as I could put it down the tube. Definitely going to use it again!

Not the biggest fan. It fits, but it’s not the greatest quality. Definitely will be buying the brand name for this attachment!

Son in law recommended putting the grinder/plate used in the refrigerator 1-2hours prior to using. Otherwise the meat comes out mushy. Well I forgot to do that so excited to use it. Ground some rib eye steak we had night prior. And yes, it came out pure mush! Put it in a baggy and in the freezer so when we took it out we just chopped it for the dog. It worked, but would have been better if I had remembered instructions! Live and learn! Has anyone else had this problem?
