Omesata Bread Knife, Serrated Bread Knives for Homemade Bread Sourdough

This Omesata 8‑inch bread knife surprised me. It’s extremely sharp, cuts through homemade bread and sourdough with no effort, and honestly works better than the longer bread knife that came with my full knife set. For the price, it’s a great buy.

I bought this bread knife mainly for slicing homemade sourdough, and it has worked very well. The serrated edge is sharp and cuts through crusty bread cleanly without crushing the loaf. The knife feels balanced and comfortable to hold, and it makes it much easier to get even slices. I’ve also used it for other breads and it performs consistently well. The blade is sharp right out of the box, so you do need to be a bit careful at first, but that’s exactly what you want in a good bread knife. Overall, it’s a solid, reliable knife that does the job perfectly. I’m very happy with it.

Can be managed easily, feels steady on your hand, cuts through bread as easily as it were soft butter

This is a great knife for slicing bread. I bought it for snack prep use at my preschool and it handles all our frozen waffles, bread and pita bread like a champ.

The knife is a great value. It has a good length; not too long or short. Cuts soft bread easy and neat. Doesn't squish them. I have not tried it on crusty breads.

I recently got into the hobby of sourdough baking and after completing my first loaf I realized I didn’t have a bread knife!! I purchased this knife and was able to use it the next day. I’ve been using this knife ever since and it hasn’t gotten dull or rusty at all! it’s a nice weight and the blade isn’t too flimsy so I feel like I have good control over it. The length is 8 inches, exactly as advertised! Overall a great knife and would make a great gift to someone who is getting into bread making, especially if they’re the kind of person to forget to buy a knife prior to the hobby!! (; The only downside is that it doesn’t come with a knife cover so make sure you keep that piece of cardboard that it comes with until you get a cover for it!

A great bread knife! Well made, very sharp and cuts all sorts of bread well. Just as good as knives at twice the price.

I recently returned to baking my own bread and realized probably about 3 apartments ago a roommate made off with my breadknife lol. This one does a great job! Cuts right through the thick crust of my loaf with ease, why pay more? =)

Had to buy a new bread knife after the handle on mine broke, this knife is brilliant slices through bread with ease and the bread doesn’t crumble if you cutting through a sour dough or bloomer! Very sharpe, easy to use and great quality.

Excellent! Cut my whole wheat sourdough bread effortlessly I was even able to make thin slices!
