I just got mines today and it’s actually good! I don’t mind the texture or taste and to me it’s alittle sweet which I don’t mind. If you aren’t a fan of seafood and the heavy sea smell then you will not like it at all.

If you like seafood, you’re going to love this. It’s sweet reminds me of candy. It does taste like squid so if you don’t like seafood, this is not for you. It is chewy like jerky, long skinny pieces because of the tentacles. There is a lot in this bag. This is my favorite snack. I will purchase again.

Taste: SUGAR! What the h-ck? I had great hopes when I ordered this, to use it as a complement in e.g. Miso soup and other asian style dishes. 1) I opened the bag and grabbed a piece, since "they" said it could be eaten directly as a snack. Ugh. 2) I cut up a small amount and added to my Miso soup - the flavor of the soup was totally ruined. Never again! Not only was the spicing strange (for me at least - maybe someone else loves it) - but they were SWEET. Not buying this again. Zero stars awarded.

There were a lot of people mentioning that the flavor is too sweet, it's not too sweet. It's very good, it reminds me of the sweetness of snow crab 💕Finished it in one day.

I love the taste. Maybe if it was less sweet would be even better. Why then only three stars? Because in my opinion it’s a false advertising. If you check ingredients it’s clearly saying sugar but in nutritional information 0 added sugar:) I don’t know how it’s possible. They are really sweet! Other ingredients are coconut juice which technically could give a little bit of sweetness but not that much and fish sauce which probably contains sugar. So it’s like a Russian doll🪆 I still hope it’s only 350 calories for one bag but I doubt:)

Well, I ain't eating ANYTHING with 8 legs, but my WIFE? She says these are a great snack! She said they are the right texture, chewy, not dried hard. SHE likes the smell, but she's Chinese... They are a generous serving in a medium sized bag, and she likes the quality. Me? I like the value! Easy on the wallet!

Absolute top-tier snack. The calamari is flavorful, juicy, and has a clean, rich taste without being overly salty or artificial. The texture is perfect — not dry, not rubbery, very satisfying to chew. Finished the whole pack in minutes and immediately wanted another one. It really feels like a high-quality product, not a cheap snack. A great choice if you want something salty and different. Highly recommend
