Review: Never using cheesecloth again - I'm not a huge fan of cheesecloth, and did some research before making yogurt - which I needed to strain to make it Greek. Although I have some cheesecloth, it would have taken 10+ layers to keep all the yogurt from falling through. Someone on the web suggested flour sack towels - and these met the need perfectly. Just a single layer of towel in the bottom of my strainer was all that was needed. Nice size which let me fold the corners over the cover the top of the yogurt with the same towel. There was a ring of dried yogurt on them when done, but a regular wash with hot water and it was perfect again. We're not using these as hand towels, but rather for anything where food needs to be touched. We use 2 together to wrap oven warmed bread, or tortillas. My mother needed something to keep cooked pudding from forming a skin and I suggested one of these. It worked perfectly. If something happens to these I would definitely buy another set, and I would definitely recommend them for all of the above purposes. I can't think of a single negative thing to say about them.

A: Yes, it is certified by Onecert, and the license number is ONE-2376

**Q: How much lint do they produce?**
A: I used them for embroidery projects so I haven’t washed them much, but they don’t seem to be the kind of cotton that produces much lint

**Q: Is the material of acceptable quality for embroidery?**
A: I’m not an experienced seamstress but the fabric seems acceptable for such projects. It’s dense enough or maybe I should say the threads are tight enough that embroidery would work well in my opinion.

**Q: It sounds like these might not be very soft. Thoughts? Also, are they really absorbent?**
A: They are not super fluffy soft, they are not abrasive either. They are really absorbent. I got my first set of these dish towels 10 years ago and at Christmas just started to replace them with a second set. I would never go back to traditional dish towels again.

Stitching and size is consistent and neat. No loose threads. Perfect for bread making. Not hefty enough for scrubbing. Perhaps polishing glass and flatware. For dishes, it takes at least four to dry everything after cleanup.
