Beautifully presented single malt. My first delve into better quality / more costly whiskey. It hits all the notes in the description.Excellent value for the price.I did add a little Pepsi in it once, but it felt like sacrilege.A little ice is perfect for meAlready sizing up my next purchase

Being a Whiskey drinker of anything from Talisker 10 - Macallans Rare cask and beyond, I’d say that Dalmore 15, lives up to expectations. I paid £56.90 which I think is reasonable for the smoothness, flavour and age. This whiskey has a lovely strong amber colour, is warm and a little spicy on the nose, and has a lovely Christmas cake finish. It is very unique in it’s price range and definitely worth a try. Dalmore 15 is a welcomed addition to my whiskey collection and I shall enjoy trying more.

Bought this for my partners Birthday. It is his favourite. Even although it is a little on the expensive side but worth it.

This is a decent Whiskey, one of the better ones that I have tasted over the years.The box was absolutely destroyed upon delivery but the bottle inside was intact and the bottle is a very attractive one at that, overall I am happy with this purchase.

Jeder Mensch hat ein anderes Geschmacksempfinden, deswegen gibt es hier kein richtig oder falsch!Ich möchte meine Tasting Notes als langjähriger Genießer kundgeben.Dalmore ist eine Brennerei, die in den östlichen Highlands gelegen ist.Seit den 80er Jahren stellt die Brennerei ihren Malz nicht mehr selber her, sondern lässt sich diesen liefern, wie es heutzutage üblich ist.Springbank ist eine der seltenen Ausnahmen.Der Dalmore The Fifteen reifte 12 Jahre in Ex-Bourbonfässern und anschließend 3 Jahre lang in Ex-Sherryfässern.Dabei hat sich Masterblender Richard Paterson etwas besonderes einfallen lassen:Es wurde keine üblichen Oloroso oder Pedro Ximenez (PX) Fässer verwendet, sondern Matusalem Byass, Apostoles und Amoroso Fässer.Nase:Die Sherryfassreifung geht an der Nase nicht vorbei. Die dunklen Früchte liefern ein tolles Sherryaroma!Dazu eine Süße von Vanille mit altem Leder. Weiterhin machen sich Pflaumen und Malz breit.Jetzt kommen die weihnachtlichen Aromen: Marzipan, Zimt, Nelken, Orangen. Hervorragend! Hier gibt es viel zu entdecken.Mund:Volles Aroma durchströmt den Mundraum. Der Whisky ist weich und rund. Auch hier zeigt er den tollen Sherry und die Vanille. Süße Zitrusfrüchte sorgen für eine angenehme Süße. Orangen, Mandarinen.. Dazu weihnachtliche Gewürze.Später kommt ein Hauch Ingwer dazu mit einer holzigen Note.Abgang:Der weiche, relativ lange Abgang ist sehr angenehm. Wieder kommen die weihnachtlichen Aromen hervor, diesmal zusammen mit der Eiche. Der Whisky prickelt noch mal ein wenig auf der Zunge und verabschiedet sich mit einer sanften Trockenheit im Mundraum.Kommentar:Super Aroma, toller Geschmack. Ein hervorragender Whisky.Dennoch gibt es zwei Kritikpunkte zu äußern: Leider enthält der Whisky Farbstoff und hat für einen 15 Jährigen einen stolzen Preis.Dennoch gibt es die fünf Sterne, weil sich Aroma und Geschmack auf sehr hohem Level halten. Letzendlich genießen wir deshalb auch Whisky.
