A delicious bourbon with a sweet and spicy flavour that isn't too harsh. It has a lovely warming feeling to it due to the spicy flavour, but balances out well with the sweetness to make an easy drinking bourbon that tastes great with ice and goes down a treat as a warming nightcap. I'm not usually one to mix with coke, but I think the flavour profile of this bourbon works really well with the sweetness of the coke and makes for a refreshing long drink that would be ideal for summer. Overall I was very impressed with this bourbon and at the current price of £24 I think it represents good value. I am a fan of the more expensive 95 rye bourbon Bulleit do, but this fares well in comparison. Maybe not quite as nice as the 95 rye when drank neat, but still very nice and is a great choice if you want a cheaper bourbon for mixing.

Nice enough bourbon whiskey

You shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, or a bourbon by it's bottle. . . but in this case feel free! Apart from the stylish bottle you get a very nice smooth bourbon at 45% ABV. Great for sipping and also makes a nice Old Fashioned, or the signature Bulleit Bourbon Crush! 2oz Bulleit, 1oz Triple Sec topped with orange juice. It's one I try to keep on my bar and when it's reduced in price, I paid under £20, I'm buying this!
