A must have for fine hair
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Was looking for a boar haired brush and saw this was almost a combo between a traditional brush and boar. I have wavy/curly/gone type hair and deal with lots of frizz and breakage. My hair smooths much easier and feels healthier. Distributes natural oils throughout length, helping my scalp be less greasy. Gently and safely runs through hair unlike other brushes or combs. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product. Ease of cleaning:Not very easy, if you uses products in your hair, it certainly builds up and since brush is dense it’s hard to get everything. Brush quality:Bristles are intact and no shedding.Works well:This is great to use on dry hair but not for wet. Tangle removal:Will not get out tangles alone.

Great upgrade from my first boar-bristle brush!
The quality of this brush has exceeded my expectations and I am happy to report that I am pleasantly surprised with the product!GENERAL BENEFITS:This one does an excellent job of distributing natural oil throughout the length of my hair from the root, increases shine/softness, is great at detangling, and doesn't have bristles that are either too soft to get through my hair nor too harsh or sharp to where brushing becomes painful. I haven't noticed any shedding of the bristles at all, it seems like this is well put-together.WHY IT STANDS-OUT:The first brush that I purchased, also from Amazon, was moreso a boar-bristled paddle brush with a wooden handle. It was great, and I got a lot of use out of it. As you come to be an experienced boar-bristled-brusher, though, you will learn that these dense bristles will pick up dust if you leave them out and collect sebum from your scalp SUPER fast! They need regular cleaning, especailly if you are an oily hair girly like myself. What I like about this brush versus the first one I ordered is that it is durable enough to withstand regular wear-and-tear from washing over time since the handle is plastic instead of wood. Eventually, the sealant on my wood brush began flaking off and I was worried the wood would grow mold from moisture--so this is a better bet for me.TIPS:- Order boar bristle brush cleaning tools (they look like small rakes) to prepare for when you need to get the dust bunnies out!- After loosening up the hair and dust bunnies, you can use your shampoo to do a quick wash whenever convienient.- For more in-depth cleaning, I will soak my brush (just the bristle part!) in a warm water, white vinegar, and dawn soap mix for 15 minutes. It breaks everything down in the bristles and cleans it out really well!

Excellent boar brush
I wanted a lightweight boar bristle brush that wouldn't hurt my arthritic wrists. This brush is perfect! I gives a nice little scalp scratch and glides effortlessly through my hair. I'm over 50 and boar bristle brushes are recommended for aging hair health. They hold onto hair oils and help nourish hair with each brushing. The handle is smooth and soft, perfectly sized for my hand. I'm buying one for my sister's birthday, and will be sending one to my nephew when it's his birthday! It's an excellent product.

Great for fine, thin hair with or without breakage
Surprisingly I don’t lose much hair brushing this. I have fine hair and it’s more fragile since I had thyroid cancer. Even with babying my hair, haircuts every 10-12 weeks, using microfiber towels, K18, waiting for my hair to dry 80% before blow drying and washing it 2-3xs per week, it’s still breaking up the shaft and I notice so many pieces (30+ per use) of hair in my DryBar hairbrush when blow drying. I switched to this and I only lose 1-3 hairs per brush. It’s amazing. It WILL not work if you have coarse hair or super thick hair. But for us gals aging and losing hair or fine hair, it spreads your scalp oils to the ends of your hair amazingly.

Nice brush!
Really nice brush for the price. I wanted to try out a boar hair brush that was affordable to see if I liked it before investing in a pricier one. Exactly what I was looking for. I love the soft touch material of the handle and the brown color. Plus it came with its own little reusable box to store it in.

Love it!
This brush works amazing. It leaves my hair feeling really soft and silky. I have used it with messy snarly hair and it removed the tangles effortlessly. The price was very affordable considering the quality of the brush.
