I had never used a slicer. It’s an excellent tool. Now, I don’t want to do without it. Use the handle for safety sake. Lessons learned.

this thing is pretty darned great, makes slicing potatoes and fruit for recipes so much more convienient, and all but removes the risk of cutting yourself. its pretty easy to clean, though be especially careful of the blades... the included cleaning brush helps but you still need to be as careful as any blade. its tough non-porous plastic so it should serve well for a long time unless you purposefully abuse it. cuts clean, quick and easy... though sometimes you have to pick up and reset your produce because it catches on the back of the blade insert... happens more with soft produce. i mostly use it for potatoes right now, but I'm going to be using it to make fruit deserts soon too. if it were ceramic or a totally nonporous non plastic material it'd be perfect, but it'd also be a lot more expensive, and less affordable, for what it is at its price its fabulous.

Love this for slicing anything thin. It’s very sharp so you should be extremely careful when using. It’s so easy to use but I strongly recommend buying the safety gloves and using the safety tools since the blades are sharp and food cuts very easily. It also comes with multiple slicing tools. Washes well and it’s good for the price.

Ihis is an excellent product. The base has a non skid surface, making it safer to use.

The product is good, but it is far too easy to accidentally cut yourself. The included guard is not that good to hold a whole vegetable and slice it effectively.

Slices thru vegetables with ease. Sliced thru the end of my thumb with the same ease. Blades are VERY sharp. Use the guard. I did not, but I will from now on. Other than that, it is exactly what I needed to slice veggies for the dehydrator. Very sturdy. Blades snap in securely. I love that all access fit into it for storage.
