I like it. Had to replace an old different brand that I dropped and broke the base. I’ve only used it once so far for sliced onions and tomato’s. It has a bigger storage bin than my old one which I like. It performed perfectly, and was very sharp. It has a nice style of veggie holder to do slicing that I do like. Overall very satisfied with the quality and usefulness of this product.

I decided to try to make homemade potato chips, and picked up this to slice the potatoes. It comes with six different blades, one of which is for a wavy finish. I used that for the chips and it worked extremely well. The slices were just the right size for chips, and they came out great. Being able to slice with this device is such a time saver. I couldn't imagine sitting there trying to slice potatoes or anything else for twenty, thirty minutes or more. Took me maybe two minutes for six or seven potatoes at most. You are dealing with a sharp blade so you still need to exercise care. Clean up was simple. Clean all except the blade as you would clean other dishes. Rinse the blade, use the included brush to remove any debris that may be caught under it, rinse again. Device is sturdy, durable. I've used it a few times since buying it, and I expect it to last for a while. Veey easy recommendation! Buy it, make your own chips or whatever you want today!

Very easy and safe to use ! Cleans up easily and the storage box for the blades is awesome ! My eyesight was diminishing with age and I now don’t nick my hand slicing. What’s great addition to my kitchen ! Highly recommend !!

This is the first mandolin slicer I've had. I've only used it to slice onions and tomatoes. The onions sliced up beautifully. I used the thinnest slicing attachment for them, as the onions were for burgers and sandwiches. It worked perfectly. I tried slicing tomatoes, but it just didn't work out. If there were no skin on the tomatoes, it would have sliced just fine. I ended up using my tomato slicing knife that I've had for years. This mandolin is made well, the blades are extremely sharp, and it washes up with ease. I like that everything slices right into the base of the unit. The blades are contained in a little rack that fits perfectly into the base when not in use. I would recommend this for anyone who wants to save some prep time in the kitchen.

I replaced my 3 old mandolins with this one and one from Costco. They were very different and each did different things. Both had a spiralizer ( which I have not tried yet). My old ones did not have a containing box so the food was falling off the cutting board, to the counter, to the floor. Absolutely love that the food lands in the container instead of everywhere. When I get it out to use, I have fun with the different choices of blades. A little bit of a hassle to get everything out and then have to wash it all after use. Sometimes I will just use my knife for simple coin slices. Don't get me wrong, I do like this and I do use it. I actually like the hand protector with this one better than my old ones. This one feels safer. I am hoping to find more time to experiment with it and see what else it can do. Even though the blades are very sharp, using the hand protector makes it a fairly safe kitchen tool for adults. Keep in mind that softer veggies like zucchini are easier to slice than something hard like a potato or carrot.

What a wonderful purchase this was! You can spend a fortune on a mandolin, but this one is so reasonable and well-made. I am very happy with this time-saving device. I'm going to look at the other products they make as well!

The slicer works well as a slicer; however, the plastic prongs that hold food in place break off at the tip leaving you with plastic in your food. I realized there was an issue when I saw green pieces within my potato slices. Would be better built if all of the prongs were made of metal rather than plastic.

I've used it twice already. It's easy to use, easy to interchange blades, and easy to clean. I hand wash, except for the blades, which I put on the top rack of my dishwasher. I store it in the box and bubble wrap in which it came, just so it doesn't get bumped around and so I don't lose anything. I tell you that it's worth the money!
