Architecture Statue of Liberty Model Building Set - Collectible New York City Souvenir, Creative Home Décor or Office Centerpiece, Great Gift Idea for Adults and Teens, 21042

I recently purchased the LEGO Architecture Statue of Liberty 21042 Model Building Set, and I am absolutely thrilled with this product! Here’s my detailed review: Design and Detail First off, the design of this set is simply stunning. The Statue of Liberty is beautifully represented in LEGO form—from the details on her robe to the torch in her hand, every aspect of this model captures the iconic features of the real statue in incredible detail. The use of subtle shades of green to mimic the patina of the statue is especially well-executed, and the build itself has a realistic and intricate feel that’s perfect for display. The base of the statue, which includes a platform with a small section of the New York skyline, is a lovely touch, adding context and scale to the statue. As someone who loves both architecture and LEGO, this set is a dream come true! Building Experience The building process was a fun challenge—it’s complex enough to keep you engaged, but not overly difficult. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow, making it enjoyable to see the model come together step by step. The attention to detail in the building techniques is impressive, and I loved how each piece contributes to the final result. The build took a few hours, but it was an incredibly rewarding experience from start to finish. Quality and Durability As always with LEGO, the quality of the pieces is top-notch. Every brick fit perfectly, and there were no issues with misalignment or poor-fitting parts. The pieces are sturdy, and the set feels incredibly well-built once completed. The statue stands firmly on its base, and the durability of the build ensures that it will be a lasting part of my collection or home décor. Display and Aesthetics Once assembled, this LEGO Statue of Liberty makes an incredible display piece. It’s the perfect size for a shelf, desk, or coffee table, and its detailed design makes it an ideal centerpiece for any room. The model has a sleek, elegant appearance that blends seamlessly into home décor, whether you’re displaying it in an office, living room, or on a bookshelf. It truly stands out as a testament to both New York City’s history and the art of LEGO building. Great Gift Idea If you’re looking for a unique and thoughtful gift, this set would be a perfect choice! It’s ideal for anyone who loves architecture, New York City, or LEGO itself. Whether you’re gifting it to an adult or teen, it’s a perfect blend of creativity, culture, and nostalgia, offering both a building experience and a stunning display piece afterward. Conclusion Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the LEGO Architecture Statue of Liberty 21042 Model Building Set. From the detailed design to the fun building experience and the beautiful display piece it creates, this set is an absolute must-have for fans of LEGO and iconic landmarks. It’s a beautifully crafted model that captures the essence of one of the most recognizable symbols of freedom and democracy in the world. Rating: 5 stars out of 5. This set is perfect in every way—highly recommended!

Very happy with this purchase. Very enjoyable build and looks great. The only thing I wish was different is the face. It's just a blank brick and even if they would have made it a sticker would have been better. But that is just a tiny nit-pick. Excellent set.

Just finished this Statue of Liberty set and wow, I’m seriously impressed. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the Architecture series but this thing is incredible. The attention to detail is insane - you’ve got the pedestal, the crown, the torch, even tiny windows and architectural features that you can barely see but they’re there. The build process was really satisfying, took me about 3-4 hours spread over a couple evenings. Instructions are crystal clear and the techniques they use to get that weathered copper look are clever. Never thought green and tan bricks could look so realistic. Size is perfect for display - substantial enough to be impressive but not so huge it takes over your whole shelf. Looks great on my desk and always gets comments from people who see it. The base is solid so it’s not going to tip over easily. Quality is typical LEGO - everything fits perfectly, no loose pieces, and it feels sturdy once completed. For the price point it’s a really good value considering the piece count and level of detail. If you’re into architecture, NYC, or just want a cool display piece that’s not crazy expensive, definitely recommend this one. Way cooler than I thought it would be.

My grandson loves it & added to his collection. Received as expected.

My grandson requested this and he loved building it!

As a native New Yorker and an avid LEGO enthusiast, adding one of the most iconic symbols of the Empire State to my collection just made perfect sense! LEGO continues to impress me with its ability to take something so recognizable and recreate it with a wonderful combination of simplicity, elegance, and panache. The Statue of Liberty is no exception. The building experience was both enjoyable and straightforward, making it a pleasure to put together from start to finish. The finished model looks absolutely fantastic, and its size and level of detail are right on par with the other LEGO Architecture sets I’ve collected. What I appreciate most about sets like this is how LEGO transforms an architectural landmark into something you can proudly showcase. It’s more than just another addition to my collection; it’s a little piece of home. Whether you’re a fellow New Yorker, an avid LEGO collector, or someone who simply appreciates iconic landmarks, this is a beautiful addition to any collection. Five stars for Lady Liberty!

My granddaughter loved putting this tigether!

A gift to myself and loved it. Really enjoyed it

Really nice project. I bought for my daughter as a way to tell her we were going to New York. Just challenging enough that she could do it by herself with minimal help. And looks great on the shelf.
