I've been searching for a privacy screen protector for some time now that isn't tempered glass because 1. I don't need it and 2. it would prevent my laptop from fully closing since I have a keyboard cover. Although this Forito privacy screen protector is advertised to work with a series of MacBook Pro's, I've seen two reviews stating it's also compatible with the MacBook Air 13.3" M1, so I decided to take my chances. Turns out, it is a perfect fit! It doesn't obstruct the camera and isn't too wide or too long. It's a nice matte finish, which is something I have to get used to. For some reason, I prefer a glossy finish, even though the glare and reflection of myself can be annoying at times (I know, it's strange). With this matte finish, images appear less vibrant, and the screen appears dimmer (even with the brightness on the highest setting). It's like you're looking at the screen through tinted blue-light glasses. This is not a flaw or defect. It's just the nature of the product, so this is something to keep in mind. The quality of the actual screen protector is great. It's not flimsy yet; it's not too thick. I have no issue closing my laptop with a keyboard cover. From a side view, you can hardly tell that it's there. The giveaway is the small cutout for the camera. In terms of privacy, it's exactly what I was looking for. Anyone sitting beside you will see a blank screen. Even from afar, you can hardly see anything. The only times others will be able to view your screen is when they're directly behind you or are looking at it straight on. As we all know, some people are very nosy, and it's uncomfortable when you can feel or see a complete stranger looking at your screen. It's intrusive and is an invasion of privacy. It's the reason why I always leave my laptop at home. Now that I have this privacy screen protector, I feel much more comfortable bringing it with me knowing that I don't have to worry about prying eyes. Now let's talk about application. Honestly, this is the best application I've ever experienced... especially since it's a much larger screen than your average phone. It comes with all the tools you need, and the instructions are crystal clear. I think it's genius how you are required to use three stickers to set the screen protector in place before the actual application. You don't have to worry about it being crooked or uneven, which makes for an easy application. It took me two tries because the first time, I got a ton of air bubbles. I received this very fast. It fits absolutely perfect on my MacBook Neo. I love the privacy screen and it is super easy to install. It actually comes with a decent size wetnap. (2) I had a few bubbles and they came out relatively easy with the cardboard tool. The color is great because it dims ever so slightly. I highly recommend to anyone with a MacBook Neo.

The protector does the job as i can't see the screen from left and right angles. However, it is not 360 degrees coverage as you still can see the screen completely from upper and lower angles. The screen was a bit hard to install. This is the first time I use a screen protector for laptop so I was confused as first as the protector is a film rather than a glass type protector for smaller devices. I took one star of due to the the fact it's not 360 degree coverage and hard to install but overall great product to get when it was on sale.

I have a 14" pro and lately I have been using it more in public places like airports and even the gym lounge. My biggest fear is that there's some prying eyes that I don't need seeing my content. I bought this protector thinking it would be just ok but in fact after installing it, I'm mad that i havent purchased this earlier. The installation is super easy - Simply clean your screen with the included wipes and microfiber towel, then you peel and install. The first time I put it on, there were some bubbles and it was also not straight but this version is so durable, I was able to peel parts of it off, reinstall a,d use the included squeegee to remove any bubbles. This is also very functional and works well. If someone is sitting next to you, they will not be able to see your screen and while you are sitting in front, you will see as clear as day! Highly recommended product!

Super easy to install. Gives a smooth matte finish and privacy filter works from viewing from the side. Also removes glare / reflaction 100%. Has a small diffusion effect on the sharpness of the screen's image but neglectible for me. Looks slick. Note to the manufacturer - the stickers indicating front and back were placed as if the filter was flipped upside down, with the notch being on the bottom. I used common sense to flip it and hoped the front/back stickers are still placed on the correct sides, which they were. Other less savvy customers could have peeled the sticky back side away from the screen and ruin the installation. Hence removed one star. Otherwise, great.

Good for privacy but will compromise screen quality

Biggggg bubbles that don't go away. Screen brighness has to be kep high to use Macbook.
