The Survival Guide for Newly Qualified Child and Family Social Workers: Hitting the Ground Running Paperback – 15 Nov. 2009

This book has great information for new social workers like me and eased a lot of my anxieties about being in my first post. It really puts a framework and chronology on things for the first twelve months.

because of the many changes in the area of working with newly qualified social workers, this book is out of date and doesn't address the new Professional Capabilities Framework. Would not recommend buying it.

This book is very useful for all NQSW, some of the information may seem fairly obvious but it has certainly helped me be more prepared for when I start my new job.

Its a good book for newly qualified Social Workers. There are a few ideas on how to handle stress, etc
