Only over 50 mile range at optimal conditions
I've had several of these flat HDTV antennas over the years. For me, an amplified one ( like this) is a must. Just don't expect that everything will come in crystal clear at the advertised high range of 80 miles. I do pull in channels from 40-50 miles away, but winds and storms (of course) upset all but the very closest station. Probably a good value for the price.

Amp may not be needed.
Antenna works well but I had to scour the internet to figure out why it wasn't initially. If you're near the stations (in town or city near broadcasting station/tower) you're trying to pull in, do NOT use the amplifier module, as it will muddy the signal. Once I figured out that was my problem everything stopped digitizing and worked well.

Directions are good--pay attention!
Was easy to set up and works well. We are about 25 miles from the closest air broadcast TV station and it receives it well. The next closest is about 50 miles and no mater where I put this, it does not pick it up. We are in the TV markets were they concentrate in "big cities" and the further your (which directions tell you) distance the less it receives. Since we are on the cusp of cutting the cable, this is preparing us for what we will not be able to do. Still give this 5 stars!

WORKS REALLY WELL!
Received quickly, set up in minutes, works like a dream. Excellent picture 60+ channels, and you can hide behind your TV if youn like,did not interfere with reception. Good Buy! May have to buy another!!

Works okay but don't expect miracles
This antenna pulls in clear UHF signals for me, for stations up to 25 miles out. It doesn't pull the ones from 45 miles away even with the amplifier. It does not pick up either of the stations broadcasting on VHF frequencies, which are 20 miles.The package comes with plenty of sticky dots and cable clips, and the antenna cable is a generous length. The product name states "USB Power Supply" but I think that's just a statement that the amplifier has a USB connector for power. The kit does not contain a USB power source.

Works as expected

Just like cable
Purchased this antenna after cancelling our cable. After setting up the antenna we realized we had been getting scammed by the cable companies. We picked up more channels with the antenna than we were through basic cable. More channels can be picked up if the device is displayed on exterior walls. Pictures are super clear, just as clear as when we paid for cable! Highly recommend.
