Sika Stixall Extreme Power Sealant and Adhesive, Anthracite, 290ml

Great stuff, I used it to stick a heavy house name slate tile to a brick wall, I used a couple of clamps to hold it in place for 3 hours then it was securely fixed.

Absolutely fantastic sealer and bond, 4 foot piece of Checkerplate fixed in place. Good job I need to use it straight away as Sika says the shelf life is only 12 months from date of manufacture, which gives it 21 days left. 5 stars for Sika 3 stars for Amazon BUT at least Amazon had it in stock unlike every single other place I looked, who only seem to stock white.

Very sticky stuff which is good if not tricky to work with. Use some oil on a spreading sealing tool to stop it sticking

I was very pleased with STIXALL adhesive, it worked really well on my deck edging and I will be purchasing again for future projects.

THe project was to enclose the space under an elevated deck, about 1.5m high, using composite fascia trim strips attached to battens fixed onto the deck support posts. The posts would be clad in one colour of trim and slats in a different colour going between posts. Makes sense? I didn't want screw or nail heads to show so the obvious answer seemed to be a waterproof (for outdoor use) grab adhesive. This one is advertised as 'xtreme'ly strong and will stick almost anything including plastics and wood. Yes it did seem to do the job quite nicely. Until a week later when one fell off without any encouragement. Prodding the rest gently in order to test resulted in another two giving way far too easily. Great, time to start all over again with a different adhesive! I'd ordered two and used about half of one tube so far, so tried to return at least one for refund. For some reason 'free return' in this case went I'd have to pay to send back a product that doesn't do what it's advertised to. Wonderful Amazon customer service however resolved for me very easily and gave me the full refund for both. Got to love them. The colour itself was an excellent anthracite, perfect match, and the consistency just what I'd expect. As an outdoor sealant, no problem whatsoever and the application, ease of use etc all good too. But for whatever reason, it definitely will not stick outdoor composite as used for decking/cladding/fences on to wood very reliably. I cannot recommend this product at all now and will only give a single star for the reasons above.
