Needed this for a few specific recipes and it did some heavy lifting! Very good quality, will use often and repurchase. Highly recommend. Not a spicy pepper, it’s more sweet and smoky, think of it as a replacement for black pepper, but it’s much better. Good value for the money, and very fresh.

Worth the purchase
Only used this spice a few times. Like it so far. It is a bit spicy. Michael Symon, Iron chef, used it on one of his cooking shows so I ordered it from Amazon. I will continue to add it to recipes.

Gentle heat that piques your interest
Love this gentle hot pepper … not much of a zing at first compared to Aleppo pepper say but a nice warmth that builds up gently and adds interest to anything with eggplants, zucchini, or roasted peppers
