Dental Hygienist Rated- 5 Star!
So.. first and foremost. I am a dental hygienist of nearly 5 years, and I have to say that I am upset I didn’t get this chair sooner! I have had lower & middle back pain, and hip pain for 3 of the 5 years of practicing dental hygiene, and this chair in a matter of two weeks has changed my pain from daily aches/tightness, to none at all. I was skeptical about buying a saddle chair from Amazon since I was told by other fellow RDHs that they didn’t work for them. I decided to give this a try since it was a design I favored (having the back rest) and seeing it changes height. I am 5’9 and I am able to sit high for proper ergonomic positioning, plus having the option to lower it for lower set patient positions. I found this chair is COMFORTABLE and solid quality! It is very easy to assemble (took me 3 steps) and it was ready for use (no tools needed). It rolls very smoothly & quietly. I bought the chair April 7th I believe, and I have been able to confidently say I feel better about my spine and back issues due to the nature of our job. I only experience some aches in the lower back because of how straight I’m keeping my back! Your body will get used to the chair, trust me. The foam seat is very comfortable, yet firm. Doesn’t feel like a hard, plastic chair seat or feels too soft where it will deflate after 10 sitting uses. 3 hygienists and 2 doctors I work with sat in it for not even 3 seconds and all immediately said “where did you get this, send me the link”. I don’t normally do reviews and talk it up this highly, but this one I had to share to the world so other people like me have an honest product to invest in. I may purchase another chair as a backup in case the cloth/leather material begins to deteriorate from wiping it with Cavi wipes (not sure about returns or anything, but I’d rather have another if I’m doing this for 25+ more years while they’re in business!). For it being under $200 while other “saddle chairs” run $300+, this is a great alternative. The chair itself in circumference is short-tall and narrow, so it does navigate well in semi-narrow quarters (for instance: I don’t have room behind me when a patient is fully supine- but in this chair, I am not backed to the wall like I used to be in the regular dental operator chair!). The back rest does bend very far back, and a good amount forward to keep your back straight, this is great for having an actual back rest with actual support. One downfall- the saddle chair itself does not pivot forward or back like some out there do. But, it does keep you feeling like you won’t slide forward and off of the chair. The horn on the chair doesn’t pinch or ride your crotch. Only body ache I am now used to is the inner thigh/leg position it keeps you sitting in for hours for the day, but that goes away (feels like you’re stretching like a sumo wrestler a little). Dental professionals, at-home desk workers, or someone who needs a better chair for posture health, this is a great buy. 5 Stars!

Perfect for petite person at multiple stations
I spent a lot of time figuring out what chair to get for myself at home. My requirements were that it be small, mobile, and provide support to my back. I'm also a petite (short) person, so often have a hard time with chairs being comfortable. I wanted to be able to use it at my computer desk, my studio table (for watercolor painting), or at a taller height so I can use my standing easel (it's s full-sized French easel that I use for watercolor painting). I also have issues with back pain, so getting the right fit to to support my spine and hips was important. I also know from my medical school education and training that our lumbar spine and sacrum are most stressed when you have to sit on regular chairs (because of the 90 degree angle between your legs and back). This led to me discover saddle stools, which open up the angle between legs and back considerably; this helps to better distribute your body weight and places less pressure on your spine. I compared saddle style across dozens of different brands, but this one in particular had a seat that best matched my anatomy. Because I'm petite, I knew I wanted to avoid a seat that was very wide or very deep. The seat on this stool was narrower than any others I found, so I took a chance and ordered this one. It fits perfectly and I love it! It's very comfortable and if the seat had been any wider that would not be true. My only regret is that this chair doesn't come with a ringed footrest. When I'm working at my easel, I have to go full height with this stool. It's the perfect height, but because I'm short, my feet can't rest flat on the ground. After painting for 4 hours yesterday, my inferior pubic rami (aka butt bones) ached something fierce. I contacted the seller about this and although they don't make the footrests, they went out of their way to find one for me that works with their chair that I can purchase and add to the chair. Awesome! Chair is packaged well and is high quality in person. The moment I first sat on it, I felt immediate relief in my back and felt fully supported. It works at my computer desk, my art table, and with my full-sized French easel. I'll update this if things change, but I'm very happy with this purchase! It's now Feb 2024. I still love this chair and use it daily! No problems at all and it still looks as good as the day I bought it.

Cushion is very firm and chair does not go down as expected. Triple check measurements
The chair is pretty comfortable overall and definitely something to get used to, but I did notice some discomfort after longer days behind the desk. At first it was a little painful, and even after having it for a while, the cushion still feels pretty firm for me personally. I’m a nail tech/business owner and after about 3 clients, I start noticing soreness in my bottom from sitting for long periods. I’m around 120 lbs, so I think I just need something with a softer seat cushion and a bit more support for extended services. I also wish the chair adjusted a little lower because my knees feel tight and hit underneath my desk while working. I’ll probably end up selling it and trying a different chair that’s a better fit for my setup and comfort needs.

The best saddle stool!!
Love this chair!! I got it in the shade Vanilla. As an esthetician, I was previously using a saddle stool that just wasn’t very supportive or great quality, so I decided it was time to invest in something better. This stool is truly worth every penny I can’t even explain how comfortable and supportive it is! I’ve already noticed a huge difference in my lower back pain and even better sleep overall. The wheels are amazing too super quiet and smooth. It also goes up to a great height, so if you’re tall, this would be perfect. I’m only 5’1, so when it’s at full height I’m on my tiptoes trying to roll around 😅 If you’re thinking about getting it you won’t regret it!

Seat too wide and flat in the front
After much much debate I finally ordered this as compared to others available, which there weren't many options. I just got it today so will wait on final judgement for a couple days, maybe. I am a 6 ft tall man at 170 lbs. Key elements of the chair are as follows: + Assembly was good and easy with no tools required. + Quality of faux leather and stitching seems good for the price. - Back doesn't go quit high enough for me and has a bit of side to side wobble - Front of the seat is far too wide and cuts off the circulation in my legs with too much pressure on thighs. The last item may be a deal breaker. I rode horses for many years and was expecting the typical breaking in pain on the "sit bones". However, the front of this seat extends straight forward instead of sloping down at the same angle as the thigh making it more and more uncomfortable as I write this. I wish this chair came with the narrower seat option the same as the stool.

This is THE comfy & ergonomic office chair I have been looking for!!
I am a Goldilocks when it comes to two things: sleeping pillows and office chairs. I'm constantly in search of the optimum comfort in both. And DING DING DING we have a winner in the office chair category! I am so beyond thrilled to have found this chair! My hairdresser has the stool version of this and said it really helped her. So, I went for the back support one and it feels SO good to my body! It forces my body to sit upright and somewhat hinge my legs/hip flexors forward instead of slumping and dumping all my weight on my low back. I honestly look for this to increase my work production because I will sit comfortably for longer. I feel like a lot of my fidgeting to get comfortable is what made me lose focus. I want to get my husband one now.

Not comfortable
Made my legs go numb, but that might just be me. The seat is also super uncomfortable, I sat in it for about 2 hours and felt like my butt was bruised.

Perfect for Musicians
Awesome musicians stool. This is absolutely perfect in my studio for long recording sessions, and rehearsals. Every musician that visits the studio asks about it. I used a “Rock Soc” (I am not a drummer) for over 20 years and took a chance on this because my butt and back were never comfortable on the Rock Soc, especially for long periods of sitting. Cushioning is very supportive, and easy movement (the wheels it came with were a little small so I replaced them with larger diameter ones). It seems very sturdy, and the cushion is generously thick. Black looks very classy in the studio. Highly recommended.

Good Chair for Dental Folk
Not a bad chair for dental professional. Fabric could be better and is obviously it is not a leather seat. Will it hold up to cleaning is the question. It glides smoothly on the floor with the roller blade type wheels and the pneumatic features seem to be pretty decent. If you're a RDH, this is a decent compromise to the dental company chairs.
