I habitually use my phone in bed, so this phone holder is an excellent option for those who are generally in that routine as well. Before this, I was using a magnetic pop socket—as you may know your arm suffers from holding the device upright for an extended amount of time, as well having the potential to fall on you if your hand unexpectedly gives out on you. I also lay on a cervical neck wedge for my chiropractic exercises for 15 minutes everyday, so this is also perfect for watching YouTube to pass the time. The phone grip is great and won't fall off. Cons, if you're looking for a mobile phone holder to take with you around the house, I'd say you're better off with a generic phone stand, as that's more portable. The wire arm is somewhat unstable, but that should be a given. Instructions do mention that to curve and bend it for stability. As for the clamp, it is great too, just don't over tight it. I tend to twist it tightly, so it can be tough to open the jaws once they're locked in—even after loosening the twist mechanism. I've pinch my finger a couple of times trying open up the jaws, so do not over tight it if you're planning to move it around occasionally. Otherwise, you may need a basic tool to pry it loose. Overall, it is an excellent product for night time use, exercising, desk work, cooking, cleaning, hobbies, etc.

This phone holder is built like a tank—extremely sturdy and high-quality. The gooseneck arm is very stiff and strong, which is great for stability (though it definitely takes some muscle to adjust) Something I had difficulty with due to chest disabilities. I resorted to using my leg to pry the arm open. But this doesn't warrant a negative review because its not the companies fault I'm broken. It has been a lifesaver for my long virtual doc appointments, allowing me to lie down comfortably without hurting my chest and arms by holding a phone for an hour straight. It was heavier than I expected but that doesn't affect its functionality.

Works great. I use it so I can read my books easier while I lay in bed. Flexible. easy to put on the nightstand. Not big and bulky. Perfect for what I use it for. It is also open at the bottom so I can charge my phone/kindle on it while I use them. It’s basically a clamp that you twist to get it to tighten to the surface, so there will be no sticky parts left when you remove the product!

3 stars for "It works." I'm no body builder, only average arm strength. But the gooseneck is very difficult to bend and manipulate. Give up long before getting it "just right." If you have a pipe bender handy, it would help alot. Super-extra-stiff, it definitely won't change shape after you've finished positioning it [as best as you can], except in the case of certain natural disasters like earthquakes and tsunamis. The clamping mechanism for grabbing onto a surface is great, it'll be love at first tight, even if you don't have a lot of hand strength. The other clamping mechanism that holds the phone is fine, same as every other spring-loaded phone holder. Anyone complaining about it breaking right away, they probably tried bending the gooseneck by holding one of the plastic clamps on the ends. That won't work.

These phone clips are AMAZING! I use mine faithfully every night! It’s clipped to my headboard and I LOVE this thing!! I had an issue with the gooseneck getting loose in its base (after so much use over the last year)… so I contacted the company about a replacement (because it does come with a 1 yr warranty)! I emailed them at midnight one night and within 90 mins they replied and informed me they would be sending a new one out! WHAT?? WOW! Aria and the crew at Three Ducks Direct are amazing! They are a small business (and like most small businesses, dealing with lower sales because of this economy right now!) HOWEVER, their customer service is impeccable! If you’re looking for something to help you scroll at night, THIS gooseneck clamp holder IS IT! Amazing value for such a low price compared to most other gooseneck phone clips! Can be used anywhere! Its sooo great for people like me who suffer from trigger fingers in both hands (I’ve had 2 hand surgeries and another scheduled soon) or if you have carpal tunnel or wrist issues! Stop holding these heavy new iPhones when you don’t need to, and get one of these - they’re amazing!! Quality and price can’t be matched compared to others I’ve had! Get one!! 🤗 EDIT TO ADD: I emailed them on a Friday night about midnight, and Aria responded at 130am, that she would be shipping a new one out to me. The next day, (Sat. morning) I received a follow-up email with tracking info! MY NEW PHONE CLIP WAS DELIVERED SUNDAY ABOUT 1030 am! WOW. Less than 48 hours and I had a new replacement. I was blown away! In these tough times, where customer service is severely lacking with many companies, I am SO impressed with the excellent service I received from this company! This works great.i have small hands and a big phone. Holding my phone was causing my carpal tunnel syndrome to flare up. This little device sves me from a lot of pain. I love it.
