Best Budget Home Theatre Projector
Amazing contrast. Black levels are great. For 1080p and it’s amazing as it supports HDR content. We watch tons of movies on streaming services and the quality is amazing. It is very bright as well and paired with a good screen makes it a dream like having a home theatre.I would be hesitant to buy a budget 4K projector over this one as it is that good and has the upgraded LED bulb that will last for years to come. It also has a proven track record of performing without an issue for years.

Great image and easy setup
Had an Epson 2030 and tired of changing bulbs. Love this Benq with LED. Great image and fast setup. Removed the old projector and screwed the new one on the ceiling and within 10 minutes, everything was done. TV night was back on track. Also noted that this projector is soooo quiet. Fan noise is so low. Very pleased.

It’s about time
I’ve always felt a projector was a much better idea than a big expensive rectangle of plastics and electronics with a fixed size. I’m no expert on projectors, but my eyes have seen a wide variety of video displays. This projector is a good value. I watch videos on my wall (~8’ screen) with just plain white paint. I haven’t seen anything that would bother me or ruin my viewing. It struggles in bright daylight, as most projectors would, but a quality screen should improve that. 95% of what I watch is during dimmer times of the day anyway. And I close the blinds.Connected my AppleTV 4K easily. Play audio through Sonos speakers from AppleTV. Great setup. So far so good. Not sure why I waited so long.

Stopped working in 6 months
This was my first projector, and it has been okay from the start, the color isn't very accurate. But it was enough. Unfortuantely it stopped working after 6 months. All I get when I turn on is some black and white image, that looks like it was burned in. Even if I remove all inputs it's displaying the same image. Have raised a RMA ticket with BenQ.
