Jolen Creme Bleach Original - Lightens Excessively Dark Hair

Yes we all know fair skin and blonde hairs don't need to worry about items like these. But if you have a brownish skin tone with dark hair then this product is for you.It is a top notch product, although the picture needs updating as the product received was the latest packaging.Smaller than usual but did the job pretty well.Words from the wife - if used in correct proportions bleach + cream or as it says creme. Will work wonders and lighten any dark hairs on face.If your face or skin is sensitive then just use a lesser amount of bleach in an equal mix.⚠ WARNING - do not keep it on your skin for any longer than the instruction.The myth that longer you keep it on your skin the more hairs get lighter may sound correct theoretically but it certainly will ruin your skinHope this helps you guys in buying this product.

This was my first time using a bleaching product for unwanted hairiness, and it worked fabulously. I used this product for my girl moustache, minor sideburns going on and my arms. It worked efficiently on all areas. Instructions recommend that you keep the product on for about ten minutes, but if you use the product sparsely, then you'll have to leave it on for later than that. The great thing about the product is that you can re-use the mixture if you want to. for example when bleaching my arms I used the spatula tool to remove the product on one arm and put it on the other. The only qualm that I have is that the spatula can be scratchy and too small for large areas. I have dark hair but its very fine, so I don't know if the product can handle thicker hairs. Lastly, I haven't had the product long enough to see if it remains bleached. Otherwise, fab product, and worth the buy.

I use it for my face, hand and tummy. It works on brown thin hair but not on black hair. You can also use it first on the face, then use the same mixture on the hand, ie saving a bit. It is more than big enough for small area. The color stay 3 weeks in general and then you have to use it again.I was very worried that I would have shinny blond hair but actually they kind of disappear. They are much lighter but not a white/flashy blond!Great product!

Results are excellent on fine hair, so gives the face an overall lift. Don't use on very thick hair, though, unless you want to end up with a mustard moustache!! The down side is that when left on a bit too long the skin will feel a little sore and look quite red..... but this is not long lasting. Do ensure you use this at least 24 hours before that big event. The other point is that the mixture can go dry before the bleaching action is complete on thicker hair.... Just scrape off and redo. Use lots of cotton wool and cool water for rinsing off..... It will be more comfy that way.

You can use a very small amount each time. If you apply it too thick it does slowly slide off. Great for upperlip hair which I refuse to remove anymore. Have to apply this once a week with new hair growth.I have VERY sensitive skin, and am allergic to most things - but this is fine and does not sting or burn or do anything bad.Very easy to use.

I bought this because it's cheaper than in the shops, it works really well and doesn't cause any irritation to the skin afterwards.It needs to be reapplied about once a week as the dark hairs start to come through again.When you first put it on after leaving it, it starts to form into a type of foam, it might sting a little bit but that is normal.

I tried it on a small patch on my arm first, and while it made the hair lighter, it also made the skin underneath lighter! I now have a lighter patch of skin on my arm which is super visible! (Other people have commented on it)I'm not sure whether this was just my reaction to the skin, or whether the bleaching of the hair always lightens the skin, but either way - I would highly recommend doing a test patch first!

Bought this to try and disguise rather course hair on my upper lip. Although the product did make the hairs slightly less noticeable, the affect didn't last very long. As well as this, actually preparing the product is rather difficult (I ended up spilling half of the powder on the floor in the process) and the measurements in the directions when making the product are very vague. Overall this product does do what it says on the tin however you spend longer making up the mixture than actually using it and it is rather difficult to make and apply. If you're willing to take a while to correctly make up the mixture then I would recommend. If not I would suggest getting a pre-made mixture as this is a bit of a chore to make up.
