I saw my shutters (6yrs old) were coming loose. I saw these online and ordered them with intentions to planning to fix the shutters on a weekend. I got the package just in time, as a storm came out of nowhere, ripped one shutter completely down and the other loosened from the top. I removed the caps and broken plastic screws from the shutter. Drilled a pilot hole into the retained portion of the plastic screws set into the stone. Simply lined up the shutters and screwed the shutter metal fasteners into the pilot areas. 6/shutters and finished 6 shutters in 30min. Made that project so much easier and positive, they will last for quite a long time! Looks Great and perfect size for my project. Highly recommendeded!

These screws worked perfectly as they were replacement screws with black heads for my shutters. They look nice and were easy to work with, and a great price. They were a nice size and much easier to work with than the ones at Menards. I will say the little plastic black caps are held together by the tinest plastic and can break. However, it didn't matter because they just snap together and you can't see the difference anyway. Very pleased with the purchase.

Nothing wrong with quality, but when you're on a ladder leaning up against a house or hanging out a window, you'll find that trying to push hard enough against a philips head screw so that it doesn't shred the head from slipping difficult. Would need to drill a pilot hole. Switched to a torx drive and it worked great.
