Really good product, easy to use.

I bought this because I had to get part of my kitchen sub floor replaced before getting new flooring. The flooring left from the previous owner was laminate, no worries - rip it up, see the damage, sort it, new flooring done. Job done! Nope. Under that laminate was a layer of lino stuck directly to the screed, and it was stuck FAST. I checked with my floor man and annoyingly he said I had to get it up. So I bought a 4’’ scraper blade which did a much better job than my wallpaper scraper, but I knew there had to be an easier way. I’m writing my review like this because I was just throwing ideas out there and hoping one of them stuck and I couldn’t find any reviews for this that said it would be helpful for my situation, but my god was it helpful. I finished the removal after heating with this gun in about 2.5 hours total, and looking at my progress without it it would’ve taken a good 10 hours. The heating became the worst part, 10 minutes heating for a few strips of lino but sat there heating was a million times better than hard effort. That was my sole purpose for this gun so I haven’t used it for anything else, but it performed very well. Super easy to use, light, and small so it’s not difficult to hold or hover over the treatment area. So, if you’re like me and looking for an easy solution to getting insanely stubborn lino up then this is definitely worth the £16! Still time consuming, but a fraction of the effort. Attached is collage of a small patch I did with this, this patch took me 20 minutes with the gun (about 18 of those heating, 2 pulling) and the same patch would have easily taken me 60-90minutes without it (you can see where the patch starts looking at where the new sub floor starts)

I bought this heat gun for general DIY tasks and craft projects, mainly for paint stripping and heat-shrinking materials. I wanted something powerful but simple to use, and this does the job well. It heats up quickly and the two temperature settings are straightforward but effective. The airflow is strong, and the different nozzle attachments are handy depending on what you’re working on. It feels solid in the hand and not flimsy, which I was pleasantly surprised by. I’ve used it several times now and it’s been reliable with no issues. It does get very hot, as expected, but feels safe to use with normal precautions. Overall, it’s good value for money and works exactly as described. A solid choice if you want a dependable heat gun for DIY or craft projects.

Highly recommend. Great tool for stripping paint from wood, did the job in no time at all & didn’t cost a fortune. Gun is lightweight, 2 heat settings & 4 different attachments available.

Wry pleased with this, not the toughest “big boy” tool but great for home stuff!

Good price and does the job

Good heat gun, but the cable is really short. The adaptors are ok and the gun does not overheat. Definitely an ok hobbyist tool.

L'appareil s'est mis en défaut après 5 minutes d'utilisation, depuis il ne fonctionne plus malgré plusieurs heures d'attente avant d'essayer de l'utiliser à nouveau. Il ne s'agit donc pas de la protection thermique. Je mets donc une étoile symbolique. Je retourne l'appareil au vendeur. Suite à mon commentaire le vendeur a réagi positivement en me remboursant l'article et m'a procuré sans attendre un nouveau décapeur thermique de la même marque. Je rajoute donc deux étoiles à la première précédemment attribuée pour l'excellente attitude du service après-vente. En ce qui concerne le décapeur j'attends encore un certain temps d'utilisation avant de réévaluer sa notation. Mars 2026: l'appareil fonctionne parfaitement, mérite donc ses 5 étoiles.

Je l’ai utilisé plusieurs fois, c’est parfait. Je ne regrette pas mon achat. Bon rapport qualité/prix.
