A decent filter but I will change the sponge filter to be more biologically efficient..
I’m quite pleased with this internal filter. It states a flow rate of 600 litres per hour. I haven’t checked the flow rate, but it does chuck out a decent amount of water, so I’m pleased with the turnover in my tank.The filter comes with a sponge filter, which isn’t ideal for biological filtration, so I will be replacing this with bio balls and some filter foam in time. It also comes with a spray bar which is multi-directional, which is useful if you like the oxygenating effects of such a tool.It has suction pads to stick it to the tank, which work well, and it’s fitted with a 3-pin UK style plug. All in all, a nice little filter.
