I would have given this 5 stars if it had been advertised correctly. I dislike giving bad reviews, but I'm slightly annoyed.It says in the title and description that this is rechargeable, but it's not. And I'd like to say that the fact it was rechargeable was the only reason I chose this out of the thousands of book lights there are.You can either plug it in with the USB cable it comes with, or you can use 3 AAA batteries. I had mistaken the cable as a charging cable, but there is no battery in the device to even charge. To test this I left it plugged in with the lights off for an hour. When I unplugged it it wouldn't turn on.I don't know how long batteries would last in this because I wasn't expecting to have to use batteries. I now have to sit next to an outlet to read during the night. I thought the cord would be longer too. Also, the port is not micro usb, it's like an audio Jack so if you ever lose the cord you're outta luck.Getting past all that, the light has two settings, medium and bright. I like that it has two settings because sometimes you don't need that much light. The clamp opens wider than any other I've ever seen too. It can clamp onto something as thick as an inch. I like that there are two lights so I can point them to each page.This could also be used for a little desk, good for night work.If you don't mind that this is going to be powered by 3 AAA batteries this might be a good choice for you. The price has gone up since I've purchased, I would never pay more than 8$ for this and that's my high price.Look, the wire it comes with seems absolutely useless now because it doesn't charge. The whole reason I bought this was so I could read my book anywhere I wanted, but now I am stuck to a lamp that's plugged into the wall until I get batteries.Please note the photo I posted is showing the opened back where the batteries would go. You can also see that the wire is plugged in. The lights don't look very bright because I used flash, but they are bright enough to read any book.

The lamp quite is attractive. The design of this desk lamp is elegant! the light is warm and very suitable for working,reading and decorating. The lamp came fully assembled, was solid and looked very elegant. The three intensity settings work well for my purposes and the touch-button feature is quite nice. The movable neck is super flexible and allows you to easy get light where you want it.

Very handy. Used it a lot when the light began to flicker.

Very flimsy. I dont see it lasting very long.

This book light is fantastic! I like the flexible goose neck design and brightness of the led lamp. I love the extra base led light on the bottom of the lamp. Great light, great price, awesome product design. My kids loved it as we are LED fanatics!

Has transformed my night time reading in bed. Like the way it charges easily on the laptop, however the attachment clip doesn't seem to work the right way for clipping onto your book, so not sure what's going on there. Still, I'm able to make good use of it.

Estoy encantada con mi linterna!! Le quité la pinza desde el primer día, porque para mí es más cómodo meterla por la funda. Se puede doblar al gusto. Suelo necesitar mucha luz para leer, y esta linterna cubre mis necesidades. No tarda nada en cargar.

Variar intensidad luz. Aunque lo ideal seria con Una rueda
